hey guys, this is my first post here and a n00b one at that. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of, or change the carrier logo on startup/shutdown? I hate seeing that Bell logo everytime this phone starts up. I tried using advanced configuration utility 3.3 or whatever it's called, but it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated :)

copy the files from the archive to your /windows directory with total commander :)

# SAMSUNG TUNE and Start up Screen: to disable them replace the following files with some empty files having the same name (For this you can also use the Silence.wav file already present in the Windows directory, see above): \windows\power_on.gif; \windows\PowerOn.wav; \windows\power_off.gif; \windows\PowerOff.wav

Thanks for answering. it works great. I was also annoyed by Bell's logo.
