:huh: Stupid question but if you have already got 1.5.0 running with the new baseband for froyo does the baseband have to be updated again to install 1.5.1?

oh come on, the animation is a nice touch, i think there are a few animation out there, flip, bounce,fold and flying. I personally like the flying. Stephen don't listen to them, i think adding the animation is a nice touch....LOL

Well I disabled mine after about 15 mins of use. Meanwhile I installed battery meter and like someone else said earlier that disables custom animations. So now I'm back to stock animations.

Mine does but only if i constantly text back and forth, but that's because of streak led app. So if you use it that's most likely the reason.

I did a factory reset and now my animations ate back but now, when you go to account and sync, i try and add Facebook, it just takes me back to the previous screen. Works with yahoo, twitter and gmail. Any help???

Did you came from 1.5.0, if so you don't need to do any factory reset. Facebook syncing does work with any of the stephen rom from the start.

I may of missed this somewhere, but is there a fix for the camera quality issue? I'm still getting the issue where the camera focuses pin-sharp when you half-depress the button, but when you take the picture, its out of focus by a massive degree. For the record, i am testing by resting the Streak on a flat surface, so its not even like i'm knocking it when i press the button.

I'm still on 1.1.1 old base band which is very stable for me and works well

I don't use tethering am I missing out on anything else major by not upgrading to 1.5.1?

Excellent build, very stable. Dont like the animations at all, bit to naff looking for me. I installed a gingerbread theme anyway which removed them.

Yup!

Black US Streak ATT now 1.5.1:

Input and unlock freezes, unable to take calls after being in areas of low reception

"System force closures" message displayed on black screen, need to pull battery

Clunky animations that cannot be changed

Gorgeous Ubuntu font replaced with blurry new font, which makes it impossible to distinguish in Gmail what's read and what not (bold and non-bold look the same)

I'm back to 1.5.0 and my wife to 1.4.6

I have the same problem with the fonts. A reboot fixes it, but it eventually comes back again. Other than that, everything else is good! :)

Ill redo the build tonight with ubuntu font. Not liking font myself now but ive had no issues

hmm, am i the only one who like the font and animations...lol. Stephen maybe you can look to test out the flying animations, i think its more subtle and i love both fonts whether is this one or the ubuntu font.

Really like 1.5.1!! GPS and pitch/roll is perfect.......on 1.5 when I used "GPS Status" app the pitch and roll was opposite, now it's right.........font is a little dark in Gmail, makes it hard to tell what has been read or not........
