Guest LorD CLockaN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Just wanted to say that DJ, you've outdone your self again.. Been on perfom/noreboot for couple of days waiting something to happen with that mod, but I just updated to 1.5.1 and it's great! Just if we can make these window animations a little faster?? any registry tweak?? (I know it's not windows mobile :) )
Guest jonnybruce Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 hmm, am i the only one who like the font and animations...lol. Stephen maybe you can look to test out the flying animations, i think its more subtle and i love both fonts whether is this one or the ubuntu font. No Zeiger, I like them too, very 80s! Very nice build Steve, took the plunge last night form your 1.1.1 right to 1.5.1 and O2 signal remains good, thanks!

Guest LorD CLockaN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I have no option to speed up the animations
Guest NO1FAN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Sorry my mistake it is under spare parts
Guest mwizen Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Best ever - green line is GONE from the video, and so is the message "AUDIO ONLY". And this thing is fast. Well done, very well done, and thanks from a lot from a simple user.
Guest mba07 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 How is the battery life in this build as 1.5.0 was draining rather rapidly even though signal strength seemed to have gone up(more power to radio maybe?) :)
Guest LorD CLockaN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Have you tried installing setcpu??? my battery is great with setcpu
Guest mba07 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Have you tried installing setcpu??? my battery is great with setcpu I have setcpu installed with no overclock min speed is 245. Just think 1.5.0 used more battery than 1.4.6 :)
Guest LorD CLockaN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) For it uses the same.. Try installing Advanced Task killer, set it to autokill on Screen Off and to start at boot.. and put a widget on the desktop just in case :) set some crucial apps in ignore list like Superuser, setcpu... etc.. I have only few in ignore list.. Edited December 16, 2010 by LorD CLockaN
Guest gordosje Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Because its irritating lol This new build is awesome, is it possible to include new live wallpaper from nexus s.

Have even gone through and uninstalled any apps that i dont use so they dont auto start. :)

Your baseband should be fine. Mine ends in 900, but I got that from the official Dell Update awhile back.

I agree, the flying animation it's the best, I had to install it over the one from 1.5.1 via metamorph (market app) , easiest way to do it, I loved the ubuntu font, bring it back :), gps issue has been fixed as well, thanks steve Edit: oh yeah, for those that dont like the animation ... you can turn them off by going to settings> display> animations... Or change it to flying animation, it's way better Edited December 16, 2010 by foxhoundep3

I went from ATT 1.6 --> O2 2.1 --> leaked Dell 2.2 (before the performance fix) ---> Steve's 1.4.6 ---> Steve's 1.5 ---> Steve's 1.5.1 I wasn't sure if I needed to do anything Edited December 16, 2010 by SammyV
Guest LorD CLockaN Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I totaly forgot what was my original baseband, and to be honest... I don't care

Guest degriz Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 has anyone got wireless tethering working? I still cant seem to get it going.
Guest ClippinWings Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 What did you do? Mine still fc. It's already rooted. I guess the FC is still an issue, but I didn't need to run it anyway... thinking the fact it was already rooted was the issue.
Guest ClippinWings Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Ill redo the build tonight with ubuntu font. Not liking font myself now but ive had no issues Thanks
Guest ClippinWings Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Steve, You know you have a good ROM when the most frequent complaints are about the Fonts and the animations... Kudos
