I may of missed this somewhere, but is there a fix for the camera quality issue? I'm still getting the issue where the camera focuses pin-sharp when you half-depress the button, but when you take the picture, its out of focus by a massive degree. For the record, i am testing by resting the Streak on a flat surface, so its not even like i'm knocking it when i press the button.

I have in 1.5.1 error that DRM Player shows when trying to play wmv files.. in 1.4.6 it played wmv without problems.. can anyone confirm same ? Please consider this for next releases.

solved !

it was not able to sync with wifi. I swapped to 3g network and it started syncing.

now back to wifi with no problems.

Nop, tried 3g, wifi, logging out, logging in, removing fbk, reinstalled fbk, nothing works. It's never synced, not since I first got the phone, not on 1.6, 2.1 or any version of 2.2.

Really upsetting :)

Steve is there any way u can make a special phone.apk that supports 240dpi? I would use 160 but some of my apps dont support it and its easyer on the eyes

+1 for cowballz, any support for higher DPI, looks very sharp but image dimensions are b0rked.

I don't think this is rom issue at all. I have never such an issue since I use it on the original 1.6 rom. I upgraded to 2.1 ( build 6941), then Stephen 1.1.1, 1.4.6, 1.5.0 and now 1.5.1. Whatever entries/comments I made on my FB account on the Streak is reflected on the website . All my contacts at FB are tied to my Gmail account , so updating my contacts is never an issue

Black US Streak ATT now 1.5.1:

Input and unlock freezes, unable to take calls after being in areas of low reception

"System force closures" message displayed on black screen, need to pull battery

Clunky animations that cannot be changed

Gorgeous Ubuntu font replaced with blurry new font, which makes it impossible to distinguish in Gmail what's read and what not (bold and non-bold look the same)

I'm back to 1.5.0 and my wife to 1.4.6

Amazingly, the freezing is gone with 1.4.6 that occurred with the streak on 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 that is occasionally used in the center of a large concrete building with poor or no reception (a hospital). I thought it was the micoSD card that was bad.

My streak has no more system FCs after reverting to 1.5.0 from 1.5.1.

I can see why Google is offloading apps from ROMs to the market (eg Gmail). Once a ROM is stable and fast there is really no reason to screw around with it much. I'llstick with 1.5.0 and enjoy the new Maps app update today...

Amazing how different these low voltage devices behave compared to desktops. Our two streaks are the same hardware but always have different issues with each rom.

Ok, got it working. What I did was went to settings, sd card & phone storage, unmounted my SD card, downloaded the app, installation went perfect, then mounted the card again. All is well. This is the only app I am getting this error on so Im not worried. You can move it to the SD card afterwards by going to settings, applications, manage applications then choose pocket legends and select "move to SD".

On a side note, audio still sometimes only wants to come out of the ear piece.

Yeah, my facebook app works fine and I can use it, but my facebook account will not be added under accounts & sync, nor will it sync with my phonebook contacts, so no pictures or anything, can't get it to sync account with contacts no matter what I do. :s

I had the same problem, but then discovered that you need to go into facebook settings and allow it to sync.

Still, it doesn't allow you to edit the contacts details, so you can not add to whatever information they shared in their facebook account. You can have a duplicate though.

You've got to go to the settings screen and scroll to the bottom and you'll see it.

I'm on the official 2.2 O2 UK rom though, don't know if that's why I can see it and you don't.

Does anybody see a huge decrease in battery life on 1.5.1. I just updated last night. In the morning 100% charged. Within 3 hours it is 55%. This is with very less usage.

Not to be picky, but can someone post a fix for the ringtone for those who don't want to upgrade to 1.5.1? I installed the patch from the French devs, but it didn't fix the ringtone problem. Just to clarify, it is the problem where you can't select a customized ringtone

Just use stock music player to set your ringtone.

I am having this same problem. I can say with confidence - having used FaceBook sync across many Android Phones, that the the Sync option under Facebook > Settings has now disappeared. Trying to Sync Facebook through Settings > Accounts & Sync > Facebook does nothing at all.

Yep, absolutely no sync settings anywhere to be found.

Also, has anyone found that their phone takes about 15 hours to charge and 2 hours to rinse the battery now? My battery was so much better on 1.4.6, would last minimum of 30 hours?

Hi, I have a small problem on the excellent 1.5.1 build.

I use the dock as a stand at night and the dock application comes up as usual. The problem is that, no matter what option is selected in the dock application settings, the unit's sound cuts off. For me, this was a problem before, was fixed in 1.5.0 but has come back again for 1.5.1.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?

Steve, 1.5.1 looking great so far... I don't mind the new font - it's nice and readable, but the animation is awful - too slow and distracting. I could get used to the animation though... sometimes these things grate when you first see them, and then you get used to it.

Thanks for all your work - I'm loving the overclocking support...

I noticed some mention of setting tweaks by fards to improve battery life for stock froyo - are these already included in your builds?
