Although I'm sure this has been covered before. I have just noticed that my eBay app and several other apps seem to be UK versions. Not a huge deal but I seem to remember seeing a fix for this issue for US users a while back but I can't for the life of me remember. 1.5.1 runs like a dream! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to this community.

I install 1.5.1 from 318。 Wonderful

System default Camera software lose changing to FC option. But fring work with FC camera.

Yahoo doesn't work with FC camera.

Amazingly, the freezing is gone with 1.4.6 that occurred with the streak on 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 that is occasionally used in the center of a large concrete building with poor or no reception (a hospital). I thought it was the micoSD card that was bad.

My streak has no more system FCs after reverting to 1.5.0 from 1.5.1.

I can see why Google is offloading apps from ROMs to the market (eg Gmail). Once a ROM is stable and fast there is really no reason to screw around with it much. I'llstick with 1.5.0 and enjoy the new Maps app update today...

Amazing how different these low voltage devices behave compared to desktops. Our two streaks are the same hardware but always have different issues with each rom.

You can change the currency and default location the settings, so it ain't too big of a deal. What's more shocking is the ebay app always runs a 5MB background file... even if you are bidding on anything. Yeah. I suggest uninstalling it and using eBay's decent mobile site.

How do I do that? I found a build.prop file in system folder but I'm not seeing what I should change in it.

Thank you for your great work! I am now in offical 318 rom ,and I want to upgrade to 1.5.1, but I have two questions. the first one ,can i come back to offical 318 through recovery mode by the 318 pkg files? will the programs i have installed dispear when i came back? Sencond, does the 1.5.1 have Chinese(simple) langue?

I am a greenhand in android sysytem, I knew little about it. So, many thanks for you guys.

I am running official 2.2 froyo build 318, can I just flash directly to this without flashing the baseband? Just want to make sure I don't miss anything. I have clockwork recovery installed and working...

How do I do that? I found a build.prop file in system folder but I'm not seeing what I should change in it.

Use root explorer ; locate the file. Press down on file - you will see a popup menu - select open with text editor. And make sure on the top small box - select R/O

For those with low battery have u flashed the new amss baseband. As my friend didn't flash this and his battery life is ok same as 1.4.6. I flashed it and my battery runs out in 4-5 hours with light use. You think we should go back to old baseband?

Don't you just hate it when in the excitement to flash a new ROM, you hit the camera button when the selector is on Factory reset..........

Even worse when you press the camera button when the selector is on 'format sdcard' :S eeeek

Im getting freezing screen or reboots with a "beeep" noise , when playing flash videos , or anything graphic intensive this never happen to me before, and its not even over clocked, anyone else in the same boat?

@cowballz I'm in the same boat as you, I'm getting lockups when using the Market and the new Maps. Streak just locks up, LogCat doesn't show anything either.

edit build.prop and insert these lines in place of ro.com.android.dateformat and ro.product.locale.region

ro.com.android.dateformat=MM-dd-yyyy

ro.product.locale.region=US

I tried the 1.4.6 baseband also but still battery life is bad. doesn't anybody else have this issue? This is my only phone so use it the whole day. Now I cannot due to the really poor battery life.

Whenever I try to enter adb im getting this message:

C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>adb shell

- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -

happens on adb logcat too

may I ask, what power governor mode + processor speed settings did you have to achieve this battery life?

I'm seeing a 20% drop in 4 hrs tops with 245mhz fall back when screen is off... Feels like something could be improved.

I'm running your latest v1.5.1 build - which is the best yet.. Just wondering if there's anything I could do to help things.

you can copy the sh from xbin to /system/bin if it's been accidentally deleted.. or if it's there, it's a permissions problem... use terminal and root to fix

Im seeing a 100% drop in 5 hours. With very light use. Cant figure out what to do. I even flashed the old baseband from 1.4.6 but no luck. Just redownloaded the new baseband and will try again. I had factory reset when upgradintg from 1.4.6 to 1.5.1. Thinking of putting 1.4.6 first then 1.5.1 without reset and seeing if it helps.

Great job, steve! I started using your 1.5.1 no baseband version yesterday upgraded from o2 2.1 8105 and everything works! The new animation is quite impressive as well. But the nobb 1.5.1 links do not work for me and I download it from streakdroid.com by search, seems you missed a '-' in '1.5.1-nobb.zip'.

The real problem for me is the email app is using cpu continuously when syncs with the exchange account. The only way to stop it using cpu is visiting the inbox. I realized this from the history of systempanel because the battery life was so poor. It is back to normal now after deleting the email account.

I am seeing that this build does have a difference in battery life. Two days I have woke to a dead device for the first time in months of builds. This is not from full charge, but at least 60% or so.

I have the same experience. I have no new apps installed so it must be the new build.
