2) While playing onboard music using the default player in 1.5.1, receiving a text message (sound notification) will often halt the music playback and make that sound file temporarily unplayable (error says that it doesn't support that type of file). I am forced to go to a different song, then back to the original to get it to play again.

Am also getting this issue, not a major issue in general but could be a problem when driving. Its almost like the audio alert for sms/email is using the same channel that the music is being played on.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Maybe a stupid question, but I'm on 1.5.0 right now.

To get to 1.5.1, just flash the new zip, and reboot right?

DONT USE 1222 OR 1267 ON A REGULAR BASIS IT REQUIRES A HUGE OVERVOLT TO USE AD COULD FRY YOUR CPU, SO USE IT SPARINGLY

By sparingly, do you mean like minimum 245 max 1222 with ondemand? i've been using that for the past two weeks...

ondemand is problaby not wise as cpu scales straight to max under any load then drops back

I'm using 'Conservative' with the range 245-1190... making sure I switch off wifi and bluetooth when not in use - looks like I'll get ~18hrs usage. This is about 3x more than I was getting before, so I'm happy.

Cheers

I'm getting consistent FCs of the phone app (every call over about 2 min) after switching to 240 dpi. I'm going to switch back to 160 and see if they stop.

Just wanted to report after a few days with 1.5.1.-.

Every evening when I go to sleep and put my streak on charger (1.4.6), the battery will allways be 70%+, but since 1.5.1 it's 50%+..

So something must be different..

I'll try disableing window animations...

+1 not a big deal but more an annoyance...

I also noticed that I'd lose connection (data and phone) at random places where connectivity should be good.

Im getting them too @180Dpi,

I tried changing my setCPU to 1075max 883mix conservative see if that helps, my best guess would be do a factory reset, but I will try to avoid it personally.

Hi Stephen, is this it for Froyo? I'm personally over the moon with this build... Having switched to 'conservative' power governor and gone to switching wifi, bluetooth and mobile data off when not necessary... This is good enough for me and very workable.

Will you be moving to focus on Android v2.3 from now on?

Cheers

Hi,

Did anyone notice, if you have your headphones connected, and accidentally or by design select "Voice Command", the speaker out put automatically changes to the device speaker. It never goes back to the head phones.

For example : you are listening to music, you push the button on the mike (turn on voice command), and the click it again to cancel it, you will notice that your head phones are disabled and you can hear your music through the device speaker.

Is there any fix for this?

Will this help us get a Gingerbread port? I know the streak and Nexus 1 share a lot of hardware.

From Twitter:

@googlenexus

The Gingerbread OTA for Nexus One will happen in the coming weeks. Just hang tight!

Anyone getting an issue after a reboot where after an unlock, it sits at a black screen with the headerbar showing and nothing else?

Also still showing the new marketplace.

Finally, you mention the need for the new baseband. I flashed it when i flashed to 1.5.0, i assume its not needed again on 1.5.1?

Yes, I have noticed this also.

Mine go away at 160dpi. Another issue, apparently the software disabling of the backplate sensor is not in this build. For some reason, my streak's metal contacts have gotten loose. If I smack my streak into my palm hard enough, it's enough to reset the device.

I've tried the flashing the 720p fix but my video is still coming out as 3gpp. Can anyone tell me the settings I should have?

I'm running 720p

MPEG4

AMRNB

30 minutes

Are these right?

I'm running a UK O2 Streak on 1.5.1 with the new baseband.

Any help is very welcome :)

I thought the 3gpp is just a shell for the 720p video... I believe it's still 720p but just in 3gpp format

Is anyone having problems with in call volume? With the volume set all the way up during a call it is unbelievably loud. Press volume down and it barely changes for 2-3 clicks then on the next click it gets VERY quiet. There is no in between setting.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks
