In the meanwhile you can use Mobile Facebook by Tormas Liu. However, it is a bit bloated and an overkill for those of us who only used the Facebook App to Sync our contacts ( well, that's all I used it for ). And it costs about ~ $3

I know Stephen said he'd look into it when I talked to him on #dellstreak on IRC, but since he doesn't use Facebook himself, it might take a while...

I have noticed this same issue. Seems to be low or loud only, bottom is low and one up is loud, the rest does not change the volume at all for me.

Battery seems a lil fried, fully charged but now not alot left. Wasnt there a 1.5 tweak?

I installed 1.5.1 before flashing the 720p fix by mistake. My camcorder lets me select 720p but it's not recording 720p. Anyone know what my options are now? I ran the flash command for the fix and re ran the update.zip but no change. Thanks!

Disregard. I found out about having custom selected. Ok Steve's 1.5.1 running great up from my att locked 1.6. I ran the touchscreen calibration and that fixed my freeze problem. I guess it can calibrate for heat or something.

The phone app has serious issues, both in official 2.2 and 1.5.1, that did not exist in either 1.6 or 2.1. It has a few mild glitches, but the big problem is that if you try to answer an incoming call while already talking to somebody else on the other line, it doesn't work, and the phone freezes completely and you either have to remove the battery or wait for the phone app to force-close itself.

Hi all

I have now been running this build for 5 days and so far with no issues at all i am still getting the same great battery life as always which shows 31hrs odd on being fully charged and is easily lasting me 20hrs plus with reasonably heavy use so for me its all been good. The only thing i notice is compared to a lot of users i have very few apps installed at around 25 maybe that makes a difference as to how well my Streak is running and explains both the stability and battery life although i do run Seven for real time push E-Mail on two accounts all the time and Weather updates every 4hrs as well as background sync being on. WiFi and Bluetooth are only turned on when needed but i do use Bluetooth to listen to Music for about 2hrs a day also.

Are you running Quadrant whilst the phone is in Portrait mode? as i have always found it doesn't work well or sometimes at all if in Landscape mode I'm also now using the Quadrant Advanced Version and getting scores of around 1334 without any overclocking and don't feel any need to overclock at this time as everything runs so fast and smooth anyway.

I am on 1.5.1 and it seem like I am not able to use the front facing camera in Yahoo. As a matter of fact, I am not able to use the front camera with the Camera app as well. Is this know?

im using the official 2.2 at the mo and have not had this freezing problem when switching calls. i was using 1.50 of steves rom and just wanted to try out the offical one to see how it is. using both roms i have been able to put people on hold and switch between calls without problems. I can testify to this as i had a mate call me while i was calling him lol so i had his voicemail message being played on one line and i had answered his call on the other. i had to switch to hang up the voicemail line and continued to talk ok.

Anyone know where to get original 1.6 baseband (USAT&T) ??

Stuck on startup logo.

Flashed new baseband too soon I think... Need to go from 1.6 --> 2.2 (v1.5.1)

Hm. Seems maybe the new black streaks from Dell (just got one) are like the white ones... Not as simple to update.

I didn't want to, but I went back down to 1.4.6.

The whole sound issue was getting to me. It kept defaulting to using only the ear piece for sound. Then, I started getting odd issues with the accelerometre. I would turn the options on and off, reboot and so on and it wouldn't fix it.

However, now I am getting an entirely new issue that I do not believe is the fault of Steve's rom. I keep getting a message that states "Message could not be sent". When I select it, I go into my messages app to a blank message. Basically, every time I open the stock messages app I get this error in the status bar. If I close it, then open a new thread the message comes back up. I've deleted all the threads except one (it is a code to redeem some concert tickets). Anyone know a way to fix this?

Regarding my other issues with 1.5.1, I was thinking of going back down to o2's 1.6, then using QDL tool to get to steves....

Pretty annoying, have to look into asap as well as the battery issue that I just got as it lasts half a day instead of a full day. Again both issues didn't occur first 2 days so must be something I have installed.

Thanks Marc, setting to autorotate and holding it in portrait when starting it did the trick!

BTW - 1702 when set to performance at full speed. :( Take that Nexus One!

I have the same problem. Just started yesterday I think. Battery goes down 10 percent an hour when not being used, and can't connect to camera.

I have since reinstalled this rom and it has fixed the problems. Battery life is great again and camera works.

Might have been something I installed? Not installed extended controls and a few other apps. Keeping it to aminimum like google apps, flash, navigon, titanium backup and my backup pro.

A friend of mine confirmed that Extended Controls latest version 5.0.1 or similar is causing similar issues on his official dell 2.2 rom so hope that helps a few of you. He has uninstalled it fo solve the issues.
