Guest evedder Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Is anyone having problems with in call volume? With the volume set all the way up during a call it is unbelievably loud. Press volume down and it barely changes for 2-3 clicks then on the next click it gets VERY quiet. There is no in between setting. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks Same problem here! Please fix it!! PS. Thanks for the rom, it's amazing!!
Guest Roperband Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Same problem here! Please fix it!! PS. Thanks for the rom, it's amazing!! Hey guys, after playing around with roms I decided to wait for AT&T's official update. If I prefer the hacked version, will I have difficulties getting back to this hacked version? Does anyone know for sure if the AT&T update will be lackluster in comparison?
Guest mmp669 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Hi guys, Does anyone know what’s the difference in charging mechanism between 1.1.1 & 1.5.1 NOBB. I was on 1.5.1 but kept on having problems with GPS. The phone freeze then restarts every time I use copilot or Google navigation. I have to roll back to 1.1.1 but my external battery pack stopped charging the phone. I know it only rated 600mA rather than the 1000mA required by Dell but it worked perfectly on 1.5.2 NOBB. Many thanks in advance.
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 gingerbread WILL not be here anytime soon, google have heavily changed graphics and other driver frameworks which stops the ability to use froyo drivers so 2.3 is not remotely usable nor stable. once cm7 is to rc level i may be able to get gingerbread up as they have mods in place to allow older drivers. the main thing is though gingerbread IS NOT any better than froyo imho, it seems slower on my nexus one actually. their is definatly no huge performance boost like in froyo. sorry for disappearing for few days, i havent been well and been busy at work.

Guest cowballz Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Agreed i played around with gingerbreak and wasent impressed at all, most people beging for gingerbread havent used it cus if they did they woulknow its nothing to get your whistle wet
Guest Cue_32 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I agree...1.5.1 is working extremely well so I don't really think I need another update unless its HUGE. I too am addicted to flashing ROMs so I'm getting the jitters and twitches from withdrawal.
Guest somebody9 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Agreed with Steve. Instead of jumping on Gingerbread - let's just focus on tweaking and perfecting Froyo/1.5.x ? 1.5.1 is already very good, but if everyone drives their attention towards making it perfect, I think that will be better than experimenting with Gingerbread..

Guest richardstreak Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Is anyone having problems with Skype on this build? It used to be ok on 1.4.2. I know skype have been having problems but i've tried logging in loads of times and it never works. and tried loging in on another pc and another android phone . if tried reinstalling and factory resets Any ideas?
Guest ClippinWings Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) isounds fine just lower it or dont put the ear piece directly on your ear, you don't understand. It worked fine in 1.4.2 and previous builds... (though it was too quiet overall in old builds) Full Volume = LOUD click down = LOUD (no change) click down = LOUD (no change) click down = Super Quiet the volume buttons are basically a single toggle high/low switch now. there is no gradient to the volume... just high or low with several clicks in between. Guest the_didge Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) Upgrade Path : 1.4.6 to 1.5.2 Recovery : StreakMod Recovery Status: Successful flashing, now testing Bugs : Occasionally When adjusting ringer volume (EXCLUDING FROM WITHIN AUDIO SETTINGS) will not play confirmation sound. To Be Updated Points of note: Green status icons not contrasting enough with status bar, slightly difficult to read. Edited January 2, 2011 by the_didge
