Guest Stephen Hyde Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 yep but still not recommended for permanent use
Guest mmp669 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 working on something a little more unique for the statusbar but its not ready yet :0 I think dark green, like the one used in advanced task manager can do the trick pretty well.
Guest jayjayn1 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 yep but still not recommended for permanent use Can i control it using temp filter in setcpu? Is it the temp thats the problem or the voltage?
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Can i control it using temp filter in setcpu? Is it the temp thats the problem or the voltage? voltage mainly, it'll increase the temp but due to the size of the streak the temps never gonna be that huge of an issue
Guest jayjayn1 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 voltage mainly, it'll increase the temp but due to the size of the streak the temps never gonna be that huge of an issue Ok cool. Ill only use it if i need a quick nitrous boost.
Guest DMax99 Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 hi, si the status bar really that hard to read? can someone please post a picture because i'm very tempted to flash it from my 1.5.1 cheers
Guest pappyfire Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) setcpu keep fc's on changing the clock speed...anybody faced this??? Yes, I get the same thing here. It's currently set to ondemand so not a big deal, but thought I'd give some of the others a spin to see what they do and it FC's every time I try to change it. Edit: Nevermind, should have kept reading before posting, reloading setcpu fixes it. Edited January 3, 2011 by pappyfire

Guest TheSacredSoul Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Installed over 1.5.1. It booted in 5 mins. No issue with being stuck on Dell screen and all. Reinstalled SetCPU. However, I noticed switching between screen in app drawer is a little laggy. Or is it just me?
Guest auswims Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 For Black notification bar and colored icons - I flashed the following zip via clock work: Odyseus_Black_Taskbar_Coloured_Icons.zip So far works it with no issues on 1.5.2 See the following for the zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870092

Guest Us3Less Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 (edited) Jumping from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 without factory reset , just a clean install , my battery life is going berserk ....... Used to drop about 3-4% after 9 hours standby with a few sms on 1.5.1 . Now , after waking up will a fully charged phone before I sleep , I'm getting a drop of 32% without a single missed call or sms . Anyone else facing this problem ? Wifi-OFF , GPS-OFF Forgot to mentioned I'm using 1800mah extended battery Edited January 3, 2011 by Us3Less

Guest BETTEROFTWOEVlLS Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 I've been using the Streakdroid ROM since 1.4.6 and have flashed each following update. I'm on AT&T and haven't had any issue with the update process. Going from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 took less than 5 minutes for me. The only problem I'm running into now with 1.5.2 so far is that neither Screenshot or ShootMe work correctly for me. I had to stop using ShootMe when I updated to 1.5.1 as it just wouldn't work at all, which led me to Screenshot. Now on 1.5.2 Screenshot says "error fb0" whenever I try to take one with it and ShootMe is turning everything pink. I'm a little curious as to why since someone already posted a sceenshot of their task bar and it looked normal. I feel like my phone is supporting breast cancer awareness month but is a few months late. Absolutely awesome ROM outside of that minute issue I'm having, though. I'm rather impressed that it seems even faster than 1.5.1, which was already ridiculously fast.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled and its now working. Maybe worth a shot.
Guest Adilson Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Mine is running stock Dell 2.2. Tried 1.5.2 but got fc's everywhere. I couldn't even restart the phone. Tried to update the baseband, same problem. Tried factory wipe, phone got stuck on first dell logo B) Luckily I learn fast and now I do a full nandroid backup every time I try a new rom
