Guest thepasto Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) I understand... data to ext works only if you move data (and dalvik) to ext. I didn't say because i thought it was obvious. BTW i'll add it on first post.. You can do this in malez recovery Edited December 15, 2010 by thepasto

Guest Meezu Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Looking great, I might test it later on. However, did you look at the updates they have made to the data2ext? From what I remember they were running like a 1.5gig ext4 + .5gig ext4 configuration for it and getting I/O scores around 5-6k.
Guest thepasto Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 omg yes probably is obviuos just i thought your script is doing that for me Xd eheheh... I do not like to impose choices! I think it's important to choose from. Not everyone is interested in app2sd maybe just want to OC kernel. Same goes for data2ext. I could not understand why you did not have my own results. Sorry for the oversight

Guest thepasto Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) no prob :) 500 mb ext. should be enough am i right? yes, i think... Check the size of your data folder, then look at free space in system/sd. can't go wrong Edited December 15, 2010 by thepasto

Strange.. from recovery restore everything into the phone. then reboot. if it's ok, go back into recovery and move all to sd.

Guest fischschneehase Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 hm seems to have worked now but now my phone is deadly slow
Guest fischschneehase Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 worked everything fine now:) quadrant arround 1250:)
Guest thepasto Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 worked everything fine now:) quadrant arround 1250:) Good! I think differences could be ram (i have liquid E) and sd r/w speed.
Guest fischschneehase Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 seems so that its not ready at all;) some fcs and system gets very buggy...:)
Guest thepasto Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 seems so that its not ready at all;) some fcs and system gets very buggy...:) Try fix permissions in lcr-settings then go in recovery and select fix uuid mismatch. then reboot.. I do not think these problems may arise from kernel, but if you want to know what happens look at logcat.
Guest merirosvo Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 After flash this kernel , headset don't work :) strange XD
Guest dieghito Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 @thapasto. can you explain the correct instructions for this file? 1 I've flash the lcr 2 I've flash the phh kernel 3 I've flash your zip file 4 ????????? I didn't make ext2 partition. needs quadrant score the ext2???? And now? I must flash one time again the zip file and after make ext2 partition??? or I must create etx partition and after flash the zip file?

If you want app2sd, or move data and dalvik to ext, you have to create a ext2 partition. It is useless to flash the kernel phh before my zip, because it will be overwritten. Why did you flash it? BTW the ext fs is faster than yaffs2 (system fs), so if you want to improve the performance of I / O you need to move your data on sd card. 1. make a backup of your sd and nandroid 2. creates a partition ext (I recommend at least 512MB) 3. move apps, data and Dalvik to ext 4. reboot 5. if you have stability problems, just restore everything on your phone
Guest dieghito Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I do not need app2sd but I would like to get your score into quadrants, and then have an increase in I / O. I do not understand how to do it
Guest dieghito Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I made: partition SD and I set o mb swap and 512 ext2 then i confirm. Now I go to "others" and chose " move apps + dalvik + data to sd." and malez say me that is complete. When I reboot the lcr-f all works, but in quadrant, I/O is fast but at 3/4 to arrive 4/4 it is very very slowly. MAYBE BECAUSE MY SD IS CLASS 2? i'm sorry to create 2 post, but the browser doesn't allow me to edit the same post. p.s. quadrant whit class 2 sd score 1402
