Guest Winston Ma Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Have you use APP2SD ? Yes. However there is no settings needed. You just need to copy all the content within the card, go into recovery, and create an ext2 partition. But it's kind of weird for me everytime after I installed apps. I need to enter recovery mode and move the apps to SD. It seems to me that it's not automatic.
Guest max2rock Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 (edited) turn the phone up an place the setcpu.txt on your sd than turn on if the phone freezes wait a few minutes....perhabs it works after this ...this kernel is not set to 1 ghz by default!:) did you move data to sd? yea i have my app data dalvik on sd.i get around a minute after the phone boot everytime i had tried to open setcpu watever i chose before like if i set it to liquid profile and set max frequency to 768mhz still it becomes 998 after flashing v2. a few times i succeded changing it to 960 before it froze phn was stable but i had other errors like system is not responding, frameworks, android acore etc so i had no choice to reboot and samething repeats even though i change it to 960mhz on demand. i am using setcpu 2.0.4 still no use tried every possible way still stuck Edited December 22, 2010 by max2rock
Guest Alvan Yap Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 finally i have done and manage to boot but seems like after move all to sd the rom is not very stable?

By data to sd cause it is not ready at alle move all back to phone and then only apps to sd :) solved it for me the data to sd still makes the system unstable...

It is usually easy to find which file starts in init.rc. However it seems that using a script by Joos, but I could be wrong.
