Guest Dario93 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 (edited) this question you need to do to CDteam members, I don't know all the init.rc each rom. It is usually easy to find which file starts in init.rc. However it seems that using a script by Joos, but I could be wrong. Right, the script is by joos  However,Harness found a problem with it,while adding Apps2SD support. Now all is fine, Apps2SD will come by default in V3,so you don't need to add the lines on your own B) Edited January 5, 2011 by Dario93

Guest fischschneehase Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 are there any news on a new version:)
Guest thepasto Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 are there any news on a new version:) Maybe.. I have a new kernel build wifi tether is fixed, but hadsets still not works (i don't know why) and battery drain is too high to be released. So i think best choice atm is wait for sources or for some other fixes.

Guest jlmb22 Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Thanks Thepasto I just install this boot .img over T&L rom. I don't know if someone already noticed that wifi tethering is working using gengaro's liquid tether.
Guest shahru98 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 hello...any one can help me with my problem? if i know what to edit/change i might can do it myself..but i still need a teacher..noob user here :D
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) For the headset problem, I think I might have something that will help. When plugging in a pair of headphones/headset, LogCat gives me the following message: W/Vold ( 62): Ignoring unknown switch 'Headset no mic' Nothing else appears after this line that has something to do with an inserted Headset. Looking around on different forums, I've found that LogCat should also give something similar to the following message right before the "Ignoring unknown switch" message: V/HeadsetObserver( xyz): Headset UEVENT: [something something] And something like this right after: V/HeadsetObserver( xyz): Intent.ACTION_HEADSET_PLUG: state: 1 [something something] Maybe you should check to see if there is anything wrong with the HeadsetObserver service (maybe daemon? Interface? I don't know what to call it) or if any of the changes made interfere with the execution of said service/daemon/interface. Edited January 14, 2011 by Delnar_Ersike
Guest fear_factory84 Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Why don't you try to build a kernel based on these sources: http://gitorious.com/~roggin It has wifi tethering fixed and maybe also headset fixed.. who knows! ;)
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 Why don't you try to build a kernel based on these sources: http://gitorious.com/~roggin It has wifi tethering fixed and maybe also headset fixed.. who knows! ;) One reason: Bluetooth. Though roggin's CM kernel is awesome in its own right, the lack of Bluetooth file sending is a huge problem for me, as I use it almost every day. Plus, for some weird reason, using any CM kernel causes dexopt errors when trying to update official Google apps/the Market. So we have two choices here concerning overclocked kernels: either a kernel that has proper WiFi tethering and Swap support (I don't care what people say about the effectiveness of swap, in my experiences, having a swap file greatly improves performance without having to kill every background process) or a kernel that doesn't give dexopt errors and has fully working Bluetooth.

Hi guys, I don't update this kernel because battery drain is too high atm. Swap support an tether are fixed. We are working to improve our kernel and we are doing many steps forward, thanks to all wonderful devs!!! Bluetooth i think is working fine with this release, so it should work also after an update. I don't think is a kernel problem. About headsets i confirm what i said above, i don't know why they don't work.. Kernel module is loaded correctly at startup, but i think this problem can be fixed. When we will have a better battery drain i release a new kernel.
Guest Delnar_Ersike Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) The funny thing is I haven't really experienced the often mentioned high battery drain. After a day of moderately heavy use (3G and data enabled all the time, WiFi on for about 30 minutes, overclocked to 998 Mhz, automatic brightness, screen turned on and active for ~5 hours), my battery dropped from 100% to ~60%, which is normal for me. My setup: T&L + the OC'ed package you provided + koudelka's modified patch created from the 4.003.17.AAP.FET update. Edited January 17, 2011 by Delnar_Ersike
Guest fischschneehase Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 yea battery drain is right ok:) the only thing which lead me away ftom the oc kernel is the missing headset support ;)

Guest elpincio Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) Hi thepasto, in the next update will be included the possibility to oc also the new lcr 2.0? thanks! you're great! Edited January 19, 2011 by elpincio
Guest gnlcp Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) hi everyone, do u think flashing this kernel via recovery could solve the error SD BLANK OR DATA SYSTEM UNSUPPORTED on this Sense Rom? http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-port-0-2-fix3/ edit: It can't work. Edited January 29, 2011 by gnlcp
Guest Nesli Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Iยดm also interested in OC kernel for LCR 2.0, any news ?
Guest gnlcp Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 (edited) my SDCARD and ext2 partition is recognized now, but the phone is unusable cause most of my apps crashes and I get lots of error and force closes.. why? It's not stable the system. hopeful to fix these problems edit: the problem comes when u move app+dalvin+data to sd.. if u just move app+dalvin to sd the oc works great with no error or force closes. the reboots depend on the right frequency your mobile supports.. unfortunatly my frequency is 920 ;) Edited February 5, 2011 by gnlcp
Guest Cyberomain Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Hi ! Does it work on LCR-F 2.0 ?
Guest Achmet Schachbrett Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Can it be used with CM7?
Guest fischschneehase Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Sometimes i wonder wether people can only write instead of read^^^
