Out of interest what are updates like if i was to flash it with a Modaco rom? Does it just update apps etc as normal?

What if i just went for the option of installing the apk directly? How do those apps get updated without the market?

I've just bought one for my mother in law as she loved my asus transformer but she's useless technology wise and I don't want things to be complicated if I was to give her a flashed vega

Brings back fond memories - I first read Puckoon and his various WW2 reminisces about 30 years ago!

He wanted to have the last laugh and have his gravestone read "I told you I was ill!" but the church wouldn't let him.

It is however written in Irish "Dúirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite", and additionally in English, "Love, light, peace".

First of all, I have not been here for a very long time, and I am dyslectic,making it very difficult to use the search, I never know a keyword, only a sentence,but the advantage of it is that I see text like images, I can read subtitles in less then a second... but now.

I have a very old advent vega and once upon a time, I decided to install vegacomb on it.

Version 2.6.36.3 android version 3.2

I only used it beside my bed ans my partner hated noise so I never used the sound until today.

I discovered that I do have system sounds, but sounds like webradio can't be heard.

Is there a way to solve this without reflashing ( and loosing) everything ?
