BUTTONS CHANGE OTHER NEEDS

HOW TO CHANGE BUTTON ON MY PHONE ? AEBPLUS do not change button power on/off.

that would be nice if we could replace it with this program: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=742008 to power off.

I tried AEBPLUS but has no effect on the power off/on button

I tried all ways and nothing. Does anyone really not know? someone should give us a program to change that damn button. hopefully someone will help us in the future and thank you for your help.

and not all of the buttons can change AEBPLUS buttons.

AEBPlus can change most of the buttons, but not the lock and camera buttons.

I have the End button programmed to

1 press for "normal" function (hang up, etc.)

2 press for close program

3 press for Soft Reset

Long press for Power OFF phone.

when I press the send button, mine gives me a caramel mocha cup of coffee and the end button a chicken soup.

Me and steel went round and round with the end call button. we were able to change the .dll to point to another .exe, but we couldn't find any that shut down the phone. So if we messed with it, we had to pull the battery to turn off.

it must be modificated the quickshutdown program for turn off the phone on slide and then .dll application so we can use the quickshutdown program when we wan't to off the phone.

or the quickshutdown program to modificate the command on the POWER button with a long press

okay now I gotcha, yes...

We need to modify the shutdown program (which ever one you want to use) and point the PowerButton.dll to that .exe

yes, but if you do, you will LOSE the ability to shut off the phone. slide2shutdown will only put it in stand by. I'm not a reverse engineer for winmo, and I don't really have the time to undertake this. You up for it?
