How do you disable Samsung SMS skin to use pure wm6.5 SMS?

I've searched around but found just a few odd threads here and there.

Does wm6.5 sms have threaded view like 6.1 does?

If yes, how can I disable the Samsung skin on my SMS and exchange email? I open the windows message app and it's quick enough, but when you go to reply or write a new sms, it loads up the Samsung skin which pauses and lags.

Follow up question; if I disable the Samsung skin, when I go the phonebook (the Samsung one, not the windows one) and hit "send sms", will it still load up the windows SMS? Or the Samsung skinned SMS?
