Dell streak stuck on dell logo

Hi there,

I am totally new to android and decided to let my brother root my phone to try and put the 2.2 update on is as I am a canadian customer and my phone is locked to rogers. he couldnt figured it out and told me that he unrooted it and it went back to normal. I have been using it for the last week and it has worked fine. earlier today I powered the device off and left it to charge. when I went to turn it back on it is stuck on the Dell logo and I cannot get it to do anything and I don't know what to do. Is there anyway to get the update.pkg file to put it back to normal?? please help! I am totally new so please explain this to me.

hey jeremy. for us to be able to help you, we are going to need to know what build number your streak is running.

but first have you tried a factory reset?

I tried a factory reset. and I don't know how I would be able to tell you the build that I am running if I can't get past the boot screen :S

I think Rogers didn't release 2.2. You cannot upgrade to 2.2 easily.

The worst case for now...

You need to use QDL tool to repair your phone.
