Guest warriorscot Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Wouldn't fixing CWM be easier to do than trying to go around it?
Guest matthijskox Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I'm still working on a CWM free install option... it's a challenge. Things I do for you lot... ;) P I've been using cwm for quite a while now and I love it! So don't bother for me!
Guest olionair Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 i would rather have a clockwork mod version or do both
Guest godinandroid Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) I'm not against using cwm, i'm just a little unsure of how to use it. That's just down to laziness really as the information is on this forum, just dotted around a bit. And some base knowledge is assumed, so a simple instruction can require alot of digging to find out exactly what they mean. Edited February 1, 2011 by godinandroid
Guest warriorscot Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 If you can install the standard add on you can install CWM, really all you need to do is run the Android developer bridge in the command line. Easiest way to do that is just to paste a copy of cmd.exe into the r6 folder run it and just run a command like "adb devices" to check it is working while the vega is plugged in. After that it's just a case of 4 commands to get CWM onto the vega. The only real assumed knowledge is a basic understanding of how to work the command line to change directories and input commands.
