thankyou almost pulled the battery

First off thanks for such a great tool! I've used this recovery tool for a long time, and it's worked perfectly. I just upgraded to 3.0.0.5 on my Inc, and it continually hangs on the initial "HTC Incredible" screen. I've waited up to 5 minutes for the recovery to appear, and it's hung. Have to pull the battery.

Running Virtuous 3.2 with Custom Kernel

Rotary Lockscreen with Status bar mods

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

if you are using windows and have the clockwork mod recovery files in c:\fastboot here is the commands you need to run from command prompt:

cd c:\flashboot\

fastboot-windows flash recovery recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.5-blade.img

fastboot-windows reboot

please help – after install cloworkmod from rom manager – i cant out from clockworkmod recovery ane the buttons volume are not working for change for apply sdcard. What can i do now ? please help me! can i flash again kernel from this position??? and go back to normal ?

I have tested, but failed. the phone cann't boot.

The same problems as before.

I flashed the recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.5-x880.imgby RecoveryManager_v0.34b:

Switch on my phone by holding volume down + power, display SoftBank Logo then the screen is freeze.

But the phone system Can be used normally, when Normal Reboot. It looks like only the Recovery System halt.

I run Recovery Manager in my phone, Click the Firmware button, display "Currently installed Firmware: Stock Firmware(SBM_P729J)".

Click the Recovery button, display "Currently installed Recovery: Unrecognised".

I read the article, but softbank's rom have no prompt, after insert other SIM card.

Ah, yes, sorry I got the file name wrong... however I did build a version 3.0.0.6 that should work, can you check it out and let me know if it works?

I seem to remember that was a 'feature' of some of the other European devices, there is a thread somewhere that tells you how to modify the phone.apk so it is unlocked, I will try and track that down and see what I can find out when I'm back in the US

Actually there are kinda nice changes, like r3pek's accepted and merged pull request for a flag for flipped screen phones. Now it does not take a whole library in the Blade repo to have the recovery :D

And also, BOARD_HAS_SMALL_RECOVERY flag (I assume, for the older devices with 4MB recovery size).

BTW, bit offtopic but would it be possible to resize recovery area with the TPT method? To a bigger size like the Nexus S and newer phones?

Yea spotted that too, but what did that other file do? I am still not a big fan of language C, I understand it a bit (I see how it replaces the pixel's position creating the upside down image, but can't get that other change you mentioned), but not more :S
