So, thx to ROGGIN, now, i´m testing new kernel without WiFi tethering and battery life seems to be fixed

On v.0.1 - Everything was OK

v.0.2 - (it is not caused of Kernel) - when starting Browser or Taskiller Free, I get reboot  Camera is Fine B)

I've done a little bit more testing today and realised that part of the reboot problem can be solved by turning off JIT in Cyanogen settings. For example the Bible app will reboot upon staring 100% of the time with JIT on but it's working fine when JIT is off. However, occasionally opening Browser or a Gmail message will cause instant reboot. Funny thing is that with the Gmail reboot is that when I use the Gmail search function I can open the message without reboot....really weird

Hey roggin,

Thanks for your effort. It is running pretty well. Can I ask you a favor tho? Can you see why Español is not included in the system language? I see catalan included but no español/castellano. Thanks. I would like to have that system locale if possible.

hello guys .... The work goes on, not to disappoint the expectations of all. sure, the bugs are difficult to manage but despite the roms, promises a lot .... At this point I hope you will solve as soon as possible, the probblemi more.

especially for me: continuous reboot ..... and the fact that the device is still not recognized by the PC. I think for the rest, we could better judge resolved these.

The very interesting thing, this project is also a human .... in a few projects, you see clumping, so many development. sharing knowledge and material. many groups that develop, their own Roms, found great interest in this project. for an inexperienced user, like me, very pleased, and I wish you all to go on in this direction.

Thanks a lot, Roggin, to Vache, to Dario, to Thepasto, to Koudelka, to Gnufabio (these are the only names of the last Pages), then everyone, everyone, and yet everyone .... (including those who prefer to remain in the shadow of PM)

A big thank you .... Waiting impatiently for the final release: Stable, powerful and customizable with many tools that make our Liquid, a mine of beautiful emotion, as well as being still one of the best Android devices (I think the whole series of devices Acer Liquid).

Hello,

Thx for the great work you've done.

Here are the bug i found:

- mem info 54/184MB

- Random reboot (especialy with any browser)

- Random connection loss (3G)

- missing apps in the market (already mentioned)

However, good work, this build works very smoothly.

Hi, all!

I've just compiled the kernel and applied roggin's patch. Everything went good. But now I find out that, like Nesli said, starting Advanced task killer free i get reboot.

Bye!

I forgot to ask one thing:

when I receive a call, the alarm rings only once, then remain silent??

I have to set something??

if so, what menu?

thanks a lot ... I try to keep up the roms, and manage bugs ... again thanks for this work in progress.

This CM7GingerBread is awesome! I adore little things like "text select via android keyboard" and others with this update and I love your rom *_*

Why don't you join the CM Team? =o you rock! =)

Everything's great, I hope Wifi-tethering froyo enabled boot.img is not too much hungry of battery xD

Thank you so much for your hard work (thanks to you and to your collaborators xD)!

Hi L0cu7us,

Battery drain seems fine if we use non-tether kernel,

But it also got reboot problem in my machine even I use non-tether kernel module :D

Thanks.

Hi gnufabio,

Yeah, If u git from phh's github, it already in your source. :P

but I remove it, because it cause some touch screen problems. B)

Thanks.

does anybody else have sensitivity issues around the edge of the screen? particularly on the right side for me. Trying to press P on the keyboard just doesn't work the first time quite often. Games that require you to touch the edges of the screen don't work well either. Just wondering if it's my screen, this rom, or the Liquid A1 in general. Didn't really notice it on previous roms.

I have a similar issue with my A1. It has always been like that since day1. Removing the screen cover that was in the packaging has help somewhat but I still have issue from time to time
