data2ext should improve system speed, but may slow down your performance if you have a low class sd. if you have system speed problems tell me i will release an only a2sd version..

If it is not a problem for you, maybe it is worth a try to have only app2ext without data.

Here's only app2sd patch.. I had no test it!! So nandroid is indispensable. Anyway i think it should work fine.

If you already had da2sd installed be sure to remove it before install this patch..

you can do this with:

adb remount

adb shell

a2sd remove

then you can apply this patch.

Download a2sd-CM7

Let me know if you have problem or package not works fine..

I tried it and zip is working, but a2sd not, the script tries to move the apps in /data/apps and not into /sd-ext. Where can I find the option to choose the path?

I have minor bug with wifi , the wifi and 3g signal stay white does everyone have this problème

and i can't install the new market 2.2.11.apk or 2.2..7 how to install it please ?

One bad thing if you start from wiped rom, as last solution fail in creating the directories needed by a2sd in order to work, you get bootloop. Also, you install new apps on sd, but doesn't move the old ones that are on the phone

I tried with a fresh install rom.. No problem for me.. Apps moved correctly.. Before install try to wipe your ext but be sure you have moved your apps in phone first..

you had installed version with percent or not?

thepasto please the file newboot0.img of your apps2sd must be rename to boot.img if I merge it to my CM7 with percent?

You can rename it as you want, but you have to check it is the same name in update script

dam, been using it since last night when I reinstalled the rom, everything working great, even switched the anim folder to have flip animations as well........ went to reboot and back to the no network issue again. Wifi is still working, but no data : (

roggin, do you know what is causing the slow frame rates for the overall feel? I went back to FroyoMetal and everything is buttery smooth, especially when I am using launcherpro.

The menus etc all are very smooth, but in GB, it feels like it is really slow!?

Any idea?

For the record, I have angry birds installed on the phone, and im not using any apps2sd patches, i dont have enough things to have a need for it yet. Any other ideas???

Edit...... Oops, i was not aware that angry birds installled on sd card automatically. I apologize for my ignorance : ) Problem fixed ^ ^

I saw there was recently a change in CM git about this, https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_buil...be5f73e6e49f064

Might just have been the case that spanish was not included in CM (after all, it is still under heavy development. I dont even think they have merged all from android 2.3.1/2.3.2)

May I ask a question,why i can open wifi but can't scan after i used the data2ext update?

I have a problem with gapps update, after installing all the other zips (a2sd only) and a reboot, I have the prompt of setup wizard: the problem is that I can touch the green droid, but it does nothing, so I'm blocked there. I tried to delete the apk in system, but in this way I cannot setup my google account. What can I do? Also, I need new market for titanium restore. I also tried pushing market apk only, but it FC, also fixing permissions doesn't solve the problem
