Guest uio88 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I'm the only,that i find usb problem?
Guest lokko8 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hello, Roggin, Thanks for your great work. However, I came across a problem that I do not know how to solve when I try to upgrade my liquid from cm6.1 to cm7.0, Here are my steps, (1) Backup cm6.1 (2) wipe (3) Flash cm 7.0 v0.3 zip file (4) When it is "copying files" after a while, it said "E:Can't symlink /system/bin/su E: Failure at line 227" <---sorry that i forgot is 227/277 (5) It told me to try the unmonut FS, then re-flash. (6) I did so, but same outcome.... * I also try downloading the zip file once more, and from different source, same result May I ask if there is any ways to solve this?? Thank you very much~~~

Thank you very much~~~ Why not flashing a 2.2 bin first ? Then you will have a "clean" ROM
Guest umair9001 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 The battery drain problem was even if you did not use wifi  if possible you guys can have a look at how miui is done..cause that rom gives a great battery life..might give u guys some idea..
Guest KeruDoitsu Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Great job! Anyway, how to disable prox sensor? with 0.3 version I have an abnormal fast battery drain, in battery statistics I see 93% or Android System and I think the problem is the prox sensor. Since I don't use it, how can I do to disable it? Thanks.
Guest mabar81 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Hi, bluetooth doesn't work with handsfree kit during a call, no sound from it. I can pair without particular problems, even if bluetooth settings freezes when I make cellphone visible (the countdown doesn't start, seems a refresh problem), but I'm unable to make calls. I tried pairing with my PC, same problem with calls, but I can hear music through PC speakers, maybe it could help. Thx
Guest natostanco Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Is it me or the option to show battery percentage in status bar is gone? i can't find it.
Guest KeruDoitsu Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Ok, I've disabled psensor via build.props. Now in battery statistics Android system is down to 7%. Gonna test it =) I was amazed by the speed of wifi data transfer! Pretty awesome! Well done!

Guest Peshkoff Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 how did you disable it? thanks gsm.proximity.enable=false ? (from google)
Guest thongrim Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 how did you disable it? thanks I think by substituting in build.prop the line hw.acer.psensor_mode=1 to 0 and pushing build.prop back on the phone. Am I right?
Guest mik93250 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I think by substituting in build.prop the line hw.acer.psensor_mode=1 to 0 and pushing build.prop back on the phone. Am I right? I think but know KeruDoitsu have you got always sensor enabled?
Guest TheShak Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Been using this for a while and it's great. I don't know if anyone else gets this, but battery life seems to deteriorate faster as time goes. So, first 30% lasts longer then, rest get's chewed up faster... strange.... thanks Edited January 24, 2011 by TheShak
Guest koudelka Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) I have compiled updated boot.img which includes lates wifi fixes from roggin, updated idle and lowmem kill from thepasto and fastdormancy from tmp_do. if someone wants to try and report on battery life it would be great! http://www.multiupload.com/U6GPD3WL0E (Do not wipe) edit: tethering works, still need to enable twice, but now only once to turn off :) Edited January 24, 2011 by koudelka

Good boot.img! Please can you build that kernel for CM 6.1? On CM 6.1 don't work Wi-Fi.

Am I right? Exactly =) I think but know KeruDoitsu have you got always sensor enabled? It looked like that, since I had a fast abnormal battery drain even with no phone usage =o

Thx I get sound, but its REALLY bad sound. the other end wasn't able to hear me at all either. was pretty freaky at first, then I realized it was a bluetooth bug lol
Guest mik93250 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Thepasto does all work with your a2sd and app-data2sd?
Guest Master_T Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Since I was going to reflash my phone anyway, I'll try this first, let's see how the CM7 fares against MIUI
Guest mik93250 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 MIUI is so beautifull damage that is not fully fonctionnal (battery drain, some FC, 3D...) it's the same issue on CM7 for liquid :'(
