Lastfm tweetdeck and others not showing up in marketplace

Hi all just got my vega and installed the rom to get a bit of functionality and all seemed to go well, but certain things don't show up when i search the marketplace such as tweetdeck or lastfm and numerous others that i can get on my phone which is running 2.1 but i cant get with the vega running 2.2.I know other people have downloaded these apps and i've managed to get some stuff i want elsewhere such as lastfm but the main reason i did the rom flash was to get the android marketplace but it doesn't seem to be the full marketplace.If anybody can help or tell me where i've gone wrong it would be greatly appreciated.TIA.

did you install an MCR addon pack?

that should give you access to the full market.

this is what i've installed as i've not paid yet to get access to the kitchen,

r5 - default options, performance pack excluded - DOWNLOAD (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: 419014f86cb05c1936f1f040ffc2ffe2

do i need access to the kitchen to get this to work properly,

just checked and it's version 2.2.7 of the marketplace if that helps at all :(

This is doing my nut in now, the really anoying thing is its all the stuff i want i cant get,

ive tried clearing the cache and uninstalling updates in the app manager but still no joy,

what version of the marketplace should i have or what version does everybody else get, as i said befoe mine is 2.2.7

Mate it's a bug within the market, I've got a HTC wildfire and some apps I've bought just don't show on the market, yet are available on the Vega. It does my nut in too, I've looked into it and it's wide spread.

One app, a game, Crystel Light Defence used to work on my HTC Magic but once I upgraded to the Wildfire it disappeared from the market. The Vega sees it and I can install it but it just force closes whenever I try to run it.

So is it just a select few who can't get full marketplace access or everyone, because it seems that most people aren't having a problem getting these apps from the marketplace after installing the rom, i've even tried different marketplace apk's with no joy.

Can anyone suggest a good safe place to get the apk's from as a workaround if this can't be solved.

i just tried to get tweetdeck through paul's link in his app of the day app and i get There are no matches in android Market for the search "pname:com:thedeck.android.app", i get similar messages for quite a few links in the app, is there anything at all i can do to sort this,

I think that the marketplace thinks that my device can't run the apps or it's a region thing, i've redone the rom 3 times and i still don't have full access to the market but i assume the rom worked because i have the marketplace installed.

problem solved, i was getting ready to give up when i redid the official rom to get it back to as out of the box and then redid the rom from here and all seems to be well, the stuff that wasn't showing up is now so all is well, fingers crossed

Does anyone know the reason why this happens?

I seem to have the same problem, to the point where half of the apps mentioned on this forum aren't shown on the market.

Is the problem ROM related or is it the add on?

Does anyone know if the add on can be reflashed to a device that's already working without having to perform a restore!?
