Guest Oglemon
Hi there, just purchased a Archos 101, that I am getting used to, but really like so far I have put some music and videos, for some of the latter however before I can play it, it says; "You need to purchase the Cinema Plug-In", is there a work round as I think it a bit of a cheek that they get us to pay out for the tablet and then try to squeeze more money out of us. Archos have always have done this with all of their devices, even way back with the archos 604/704 ranges. The plug in give you access to extra codecs that would not ordinarily be available for the device/operating system. The only real work around would be to try recoding the video you are trying to play to a format that the 101 can play. Use something like handbrake or dvd catalyst.
