hi fards,

The pkg.zip you posted in this thread, is it 318 or 319?

I flashed the bb from ur upload n got the 318 version

Cheers

It should be the 319, but if it's showing 318, then it must be 318.

I'll check later when I'm on a pc

Just uploading definite 319 zip, just checked the build.prop

Cheers Fards,

I follow you and don't flash because I like my device continue 00US,Thanks again adzman :(

i'm not sure, but i think the package Fards has posted is a dump of the 319 update.

i'm not saying it can't be flashed, but it's appearance in this thread was cos some1 asked for a copy of the 319 baseband

turns out that this folder contained the 318 bb - which is the same as i've (we've?) been using already

i wanna try the 319 bb - it was released in the .pkg for 'my' carrier

but for ppl not on o2 (like u i guess) i've no idea if they'd be a benefit or not.

Here's the entire rom pkg as a zip. So you can use the amss out of that

http://db.tt/uTOs6Th

Looks like that is the 318 version, haven't double checked it yet,

Here's the 319 version

am i missing something here?

flashed amss & BB is still listed (under settings/about phone) as GAUSB1A131800-EU

here's what i did...

opened Fards zip

copied amss.mbn to c:\streak (my fastboot folder)

then in cmd (run as admin)

c:\Streak>fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn

sending 'amss' (15752 KB)... OKAY

writing 'amss'... OKAY

c:\Streak>fastboot -i 0x413c reboot

rebooting...

c:\Streak>

did notice that the re-posted 319.pkg.zip was the same file size as the prev "319" zip...

cheers

I had installed from the first file that fards posted.

It was actually 319 version.

am i flashing the right thing?

amss.mbn?

it's defo not changing my BB...

U should not worry abt BB if u don't see any issues. Mostly when u flash stock rom it should flash the appropriate BB

i just wanna try the 319 bb

i've extracted fards' amss file

i type this into cmd

c:\Streak>fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn

sending 'amss' (15752 KB)... OKAY

writing 'amss'... OKAY

(obv phone screen confirms "downloading amss - writing amss - amss done")

but in about phone menu BB entry remains unchanged

wtf?

ta !

ok,

i'm gonna assume that this BB simply doesn't install on the 318 image (with a combo of smoku & Fards tweaks)

it is DEFO 319 as Fards said (funny that) as i've just worked with jedimaster (on irc) & he's confirmed it change his BB from 305 to 319

as i'm not trying to fix anything (just give it a go) then i'll quit trying (for now :()

CWM didnt stay installed on mine so I had to flash it back through FASTBOOT then immediately go into it after reboot to flash back to 318 or any other zip file.
