Guest alert_bri Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 I have in spare parts under partial wake usage of battery history.. that maps are eating my battery. I haven't even started maps?? how to deal that problem?? Try the free app : AutoKiller Memory optimizer with 'Extreme'preset and set your Max CPU speed to 998 Mhz... I've just set things up like this and will report back on battery life. Cheers Brian
Guest Sotiris Lekkas Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 No matter what I do I vet CDV 8.0 and estimated operating time 11:22. Any ideas? I'm running Steve's 1.6.0 and I'm using smartass.

Cheers Brian I did a factory reset and installed 1.6.1- beta and the battery finaly went to normal (it's because of a factory reset, not 1.6.1) Edited January 19, 2011 by LorD CLockaN
Guest baastien Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 Is it necessary to put this app in exclusion list ? i don't know how it calculates times and velocity... So question is not that stupid !

So question is not that stupid ! Probably, yes - although I've stopped using a task killer. I use a memory memory optimiser instead. Cheers Brian

Guest alert_bri Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 By extreme preset you mean activate chuck norris mode or not ? No! I mean press menu-> presets and choose the Extreme (150,160,170) setting. I don't recommend the Chuck Norris mode... Sound too risky to me. Cheers Brian
Guest v1nsai Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Awesome! Just wanted to say thank you for getting me to look up setCPU because I found an app called CPU tuner that shuts off interfaces when the screen is off, something I always wanted more control over. I'll buy setCPU when my bank account is worth something again but CPU tuner may be all I need. Definitely gonna donate.
