When I am trying to watch bbc iplayer, the whole screen turn into green. I can only hear sounds. Does anybody got any idea, what's going on? I'm using rooted nexus S 2.3.1

There's a workaround, but it's not that great:

There is a fix for the iplayer Thanks to ryude, sporran and others for this:

Go to google.com and in the URL bar, type; about:debug then hit go.

Not much happens but press menu button/more scroll to bottom, hit settings and scroll to bottom, you should have some extra settings, tick the box at Normal Rendering and click on UAString ,choose Desktop. Exit and that's it. BBC Iplayer will now play without a green screen.

You get to the regular iPlayer site rather than the (better formatted) Mobile version. It works, but it's much trickier to navigate around.

There is now an update to Flash in the Marketplace that fixes this properly.

Hurrah! :D

So I can now safely update my NS to 2.3.1 & not have the issues with flash not working on various sites.

I've only tested it on the BBC iPlayer site and a single embedded Vimeo video. Both greenscreened when playing before, neither do now.

If it been updated, and it works fine. That would be great. I'm a little worry about the process when flash it.
