can I use headphones with mic for making calls?

t seems as if the headphone jack was designed for two separate cables- one for talking and one for listening. for the O2, is their a method or a mod that I can do to make something like an iphone headset to make calls? this would be far more convent for me.

any help is appreciated. also I have an I8000L- my phone is unlocked but i would like to get rid of that bell sign in the begining... anyone have a recent ".bin" part from a firmwire they can share?

omnia 2 seems to have to messaging applications... how do I make the windows one threated and the main one? I followed the tweaks on this page http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...d-programs-faq/

and couldn't seem to work it. what else could I do with registry editor?

when you get Pop Up Window <Headphone , Headset , TV Out>

Choose Headset to make headset button work :D

using this button you can call last contact you called before :D

I tryed headset. same thing. no voice resonse at all!

so stupid, the samsung phonew regionizes two seperate things- one as a mircophone and two as the headphones, cause thats how the orginal package came in right? so silly! why can't they just have a pair of headphones with a mrciophone in them like EVERYONE else?
