Hi guys

I know this thread is about wallpaper images so hopefully my question is relevant and in the correct place :D.

I'm using the latest Swedish spring ROM and have downloaded some wallpapers but I can't seem to find a way to put them into thewallpaper gallery, I know I could easily make a folder on the SD card and place them in their and access them through gallery but I would like to have them show up in wallpaper gallery. I have a couple of images in their already (came installed with ROM I guess) but even when I connect the phone to my PC and examine the phones files I can't find the wallpaper gallery folder or the Pre-installed images. :D

So my question is: Is it possible to place wallpapers on the phone that show up in wallpaper gallery.

The included wallpapers are included in the Launcher app that comes with your ROM. You need to open up the launcher .apk in the ROM files, and add the photos you want manually to the correct folder.

EDIT: system\app\Launcher2.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\

.stupid question sorry if its been mentioned in thread I'm on mobile and takes ages to find info all this wonderful wallpapers but they all resize horribly when I go to set them any help much appreciated

use the orange square to resize and select the part of the picture you need and it should work.

if you want the whole picture just make the square as big as possible

Don't use the gallery app to set wallpapers. It doesn't seem to set them in full colour and produces visible banding. Try Wallpaper Set and Save Market link that works perfectly.
