for me not when enable it start scanning the disable it :D

Tried wifi scan_ap=0 & 1 did the same...

If you wipe after flashing the ROM, it could be the cause.

Try this fix : http://bit.ly/gqTShk

The patch just create a folder on /data and apply right permission on it. It doesn't wipe or remove anything....

Ok,

finally wifi is still not working...

I can now activate the wifi, scan for network but i can't connect to any of then.

I tried with wifi wpa of my freebox, and also with open wifi of a MC Donald's.

And the result is as above.

Any idea?

Anyway all other stuff is working great!

I have another issue since your patch applied: missing call notification led is still blinking...

Cheers

Steph.

You have to update SetCPU manually, i should not provide it in this ROM, that's why it's an old version (but working).

If you want Acer UI, u should use one of this ROM :

t&l or Dmd

Tried t&l. Not as good as your ROM.

try to reflashing with Vache's guide

reboot in revocery >> nandroid >> wipe all >> update :D

Vache's ROM is the one i like most

I did my proper custom:

by flashing latest bin, then recovery, then rooting

and removing by hand all apps I don't need, and installing those I need.

And finally flashing OC kernel.

My wifi is now back and running. But I have now a battery drain to investigate :(

I'll monitor battery tomorrow to confirm.

Cheers,

Steph

Question about Ext2 (I use a2sd): I'll change my 4gb sd fo a 16gb (class 10). How should I proceed?

I think I only need to :

* cross fingers

* execute the script a2sd off

* restart (apps come back to phone mem)

* duplicate Sd (non ext2) to hd

* boot phone with new sd (recovery)

* partition new sd

* copy non ext2 saved on hd to new sd.

* boot phone and exec script a2sd on

* uncross fingers and have a beer.

Let me know if I'm wrong somewhere or missing important step.

Just one thing to add in next realase... The volume on speaker (when on the phone) is low. Is it possible to add a tweak to have volume a bit higher? I think there's such tweak in LCR.

I did as mentionned for SD change. All went fine.

Thank you :D That was fast!

Is this the kernel from 1.100.16? Will work on 1.100.24 without problems, or?

How can it be managed to have around 130MHz in sleep mode and 1 GHz maximum without using SetCPU?

Is this possible? Because I read some SetCPU reviews, telling it drains battery fast...

Kind regards

Could you detail what's in it?

It looks like this : http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-with-new-logo/

122 to 1017 OC range + undervolted.

I installed it on Metalounay. Works fine except maybe issues with SD (read last posts). I got also very minor issues. I'll continue my tests for few days and remove it to see if issues really comes fom this Kernel.

Battery drain seems fine (but more time needed to be definitive). I also try setCPU and battery drain seems to be not as good.

My concern with OC is I don't seek preformance, but more battery life. And I don't know if it's safe for the phone to be overclocked on a long period. Aka, being on the road for hours in GPS mode, in the summer under the windscreen with a bright sun...

I'm using it on 1.100.24 since 3 days without issues.

This kernel doesn't support 130Mhz cause it's useless. I can make an other boot that will apply 1Ghz at boot (it force 800Mhz actually)

Cool great :D

Vache: 10 points :(

Why useless?

In standby doesn't it consume lesser battery?

If it's not too much work..? Would be great to have 245-1000Mhz on demand without SetCPU :(

PS: I already tried the Kernel from davidevinabil, but after standby my SD card won't be regognized anymore :D With yours its working...

Can I ask why? Which sleep mode frequency is used in original FW instead of tweaked 130MHz?
