full 1024x600 wallpaper in adw.launcher with 1 screen/page

for me it's just plain horrible with gallery.

i can't stand having what looks like a 480x320 wallpaper on 1024x600

Im the same, just want a nice 16:9 widescreen desktop, not a 4:3 cropped jpeg compressed mess, no matter WHAT ROM or launcher i use, i get the same results.

Funnily enough it work ok on the stock rom, lol go figure.

After deciding that i just couldn't and shouldn't have to put so much effort into setting a wallpaper, I tried the live wallpaper Wallpaper slideshow. I set the directory to my high res images on the SD card and set the change frequency to daily, if you only want one image just have one image in the folder. Hey presto this has given me full quality wallpapers with no messing about! Simple but effective, and i have used it with adw and vtl launcher.

Thanks for this. I'm using VTLauncher, [which is based on ADW], which also works perfectly.

I only use one screen as scrolling gets on my nerves, and use SimiFolders to seperate games/apps/system tools/media/etc.

Everything works great and I now have quality, [instead of blurry], images.
