I'm running 2.2 Froyo, with a Vodafone Sim, PAYG. How can i set up my phone to send/ receive MMS messages? Vodafone are useless as they have no details for the handset, despite telling them it runs android, the same as their HTC phones. Any ideas on what i can look for in my handset? I have a Sure signal at home, and can get full 3.5G speeds, but just can't seem to get MMS to work.

What's a good launcher that lets you view apps in Page view? Personally, I just think it's easier to find apps this way. I'm using ADW (free version) and it's a a bit laggy. I also tried Go Launcher but I can't cutomise as much. Any good suggestions? Ta.

try settings>sound

if that doesnt work than i dont know what will...

however, it depends on the person.

if they hold it for long, it will keep ringing

if they are impatient(!) than they will hang up sooner

so im not sure

This is dependent on your provider, you can set the time before the answering machine kicks in to 20-30 seconds.

That's what I thought. I might try ADW EX. I've stopped buying apps at the moment because I'm a little annoyed that my bank is charging an extra £1 for non £ currency transactions from the market.

I have replaced the Orange Rom with a Custom Rom Jellyfish's latest version and everything is okay. Except for one silly thing and I can't figure it out and having a dumb moment. I am putting my 02 sim card in there. No problem there, but I have phone numbers on that sim card and yet it's not showing on the phone? What do I do to show them on there? Yes numbers are on there and tried it with another sim and no go.

do you mean when someone calls you?

goto settings>sound>turn vibrate off

Yes you can!

Firstly Create a folder 'Music' then inside that folder create two more 'notifications' and 'ringtones'

do it without the '' between the words. notifications is for your txt music and ringtones is the obvious for your calls.

Then you put your music that's applicable into those two folders... (this is so that you have your own ringtones as well as the ones that came with the rom

Then put that onto your SD card

Go to contacts and select one. On the next screen that pops up showing call mobile, call home etc press the menu button and then click options.

The ringtone setting is there.

Which lockscreen has the lock on the bottom left and the silent mode one on the bottom right? I just got the Modaco r12 rom and it has one I've not seen before where you kind of swipe a needle. It looks awful. But I can't remember if that's the ZTE one or the Froyo one. I swear I tried both in the prebake, but it keeps coming up the same, and I'm somewhat confused.

Yeah that's ZTE's one. From reading the ROM page, Paul's froyo should have the android one in the prebake. Try redownloading?

Or are you using the kitchen? In which case check that the right box is ticked.
