? DUH.......I admit newest is probably most updated but when installing ROM i was advised to a v.0.29b zip. As I still do not fully understand everything I am doing ( i just follow guides that work thanks to the people on this site), i seek guidance when unsure. Thanks for your reply

sorry, i thought you knew...

yeah, steven harper is an almighty man, but he does not have time to update it every time something changes, if you know what i mean

Yes you can, although recovery managers specifically for the Blade and so I'd say use that instead

That's nonsense, Blade is supported by ROM Manager now. Use whichever one you like best.

Another noob question. I've been running FLB Froyo 10b for a day now and really like it and want to stick with it however can I download and install an alternative Launcher i.e. Launcher Pro or will this require chaning to a Custom ROM which supports the new launcher? And if I don't like it, can I switch back to Launcher2?

Go for it

You can install as many different launchers as you like - when you have more than one installed and you push the Home button it will ask you which of the installed launchers you'd like to use and whether or not you'd like to set that one as the default

Yes, you can then switch back if you like by cancelling the default setting in Application manager (in settings from the home screen)

Another daft question

Why is the clock on this bulletin board running 20 minutes fast?

It's 7.54pm here as I press submit, but it will be posted as a different time in Modaco land

(welcome to pedants corner!)

EDIT: ok then, only 10 minutes fast - [/pedantry]

Home Switcher is quite a nice way of changing the default.
