Guest Phoenix Silver Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 What's the best size for a wallpaper? 960 X 800
Guest HMZX Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Im using Paul R11 froyo rom, and the contacts are stored on my SD atm, BUT, they didnt appear like it before. i think it depends on the rom on jap jelly it works like normal
Guest BritishBob Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 960 x 800 pixels is the most used size as it fits best but you can use any android 'stretches' them out so they fit with little pixel distortion! rarther alot for the one I am trying to use
Guest HMZX Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 rarther alot for the one I am trying to use try a different wallpaper or make your usual one bigger with gimp or something
Guest phlum Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Im using Paul R11 froyo rom, and the contacts are stored on my SD atm, BUT, they didnt appear like it before. Not sure about SD (didn't even know you could view them straight from SD, only thought you could import/export) but I think from the SIM card they appear as American numbers. Try saving your contacts to your phone or your Google account.
Guest phlum Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 1) jj9 has MUCH better battery and a few fixes for the problems in the earlier versions its worth it! just go for it 2) supposedly, yes. i havent tried myself, but there was a post and topic around here about it working. you need to upload your own framework though  or the one you are using EDIT: found it: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...tor-in-taskbar/ advice on here about that website Okay, can I flash JJ9 over the top of my current JJ6 setup? Also, incidentally, I posted in that topic :) The circle battery indicator is fine but I was wondering about the custom notification bars.

Guest wolverine73 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 rarther alot for the one I am trying to use If you are using a single screen wallpaper with no scrolling then a size of 480 by 800 is perfect. Most of the wallpapers available are designed to be scrolled over roughly 3 screens so they have more pixels 'wide' as opposed to 'high' to give that nice sliding effect on the same wallpaper
Guest IronDoc Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 2- Does everything from http://circle.glx.nl work on the Blade? Not if you're using one of Frankish's themes. He says his frameworks are too messy or something.
Guest HMZX Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Got a replacement OLED phone instead of my tft ( yaaaaay ) I want to ask all the people who got a replacement did you get a complete phone with all the stuff with it ( battery, sd card and cable? If you dont get that, can you complain and get them? Or do u have to live with it? Thanks in advance
Guest kgian Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 I have jj rls8. Is there a point in upgrading to 9? What are the three contacts I have to delete?
Guest joshjw Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Need help. Just flashed JJ9 to my phone and everything seems fine, but I checked my contacts and they are no longer there. It worked on Paul's Modaco custom R7 Rom and they were all there. All of them are saved to my giffgaff simcard, how do I get them back. Also I installed these addons for the JJ9: (Addon to enable hardware accellerated UI) MD5 - This one I installed but not sure if it works (doesn't seem like it), how do I find out if it is? And these addons below I installed, but once I did I now get this warning meassage everytime I boot my phone up if I switch it off, and the message comes up twice. ("The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Why am I getting this message and how can I stop it. Japanese_Jellyfish_RLS9_circle_battery.zip (Addon to enable circle battery indicator) MD5: Japanese_Jellyfish_RLS8_blueish_kbd.zip (Addon to change orange to blue on G-bread kbd) Japanese_Jellyfish_RLS9_smartdialer_addon.zip (Restore Smart Dialer and RLS7 version of Contacts) MD5: Japanese_Jellyfish_RLS9_group_contacts.zip (Restore RLS8 cersion of Contacts and ContactsProvider) Sorry for all the questions but I will be grateful for the help, Thanks.
Guest Drakedian Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Which one is the most smooth / fast with FLB G2 ? Stock launcher, ADW-EX or LauncherPRO ? Thx in advance!
Guest dragsy Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 I have recently switched to Paul's Froyo r11 after having....uh, something else I got here whose name has compeltely slipped my mind. Anyway, is there a way to change the image that shows up when booting up (not the android logo, the bit after)? On the rom whose name escapes me there was a pretty cool blue Android animated wordmark, and sorry to say, I'm not a massive fan of the strange hooded man looking like he's trying to punch someone with his phone logo >_>
Guest hecatae Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 where is the wallpaper thread? did not find it in themes and design customisation, is it still in the main forum?

Guest Rotmann Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) I have jj rls8. Is there a point in upgrading to 9? What are the three contacts I have to delete? Anyone? Searcing the JJ topic for three contacts apps gave me the result: 3 contacts related apps are: Contacts, Contacts Storage, and contacts Sync Acapter, all under Settings---Applications---Manage Applications---All" Need help. Just flashed JJ9 to my phone and everything seems fine, but I checked my contacts and they are no longer there. It worked on Paul's Modaco custom R7 Rom and they were all there. Sorry for all the questions but I will be grateful for the help, Thanks. Read the first post of JJ with the three contact related apps. If you installed HW_UI it works. You can open build.prop in /system/ with root explorer (not free in market) or copy it with Super Manager (free in market) or ADB and open it with a text editor and check if hw_ui=1 . If it is, it's enabled. The error messages may come from the fact that you restored system from another ROM or have not wiped. Which one is the most smooth / fast with FLB G2 ? Stock launcher, ADW-EX or LauncherPRO ? :) Thx in advance! ADW EX at the moment but LauncherPRO rewrite will come soon (1-2 months I think), maybe it will be faster. Fede promises a little revolution with the rewrite of the app. I have recently switched to Paul's Froyo r11 after having....uh, something else I got here whose name has compeltely slipped my mind. Regarding the error message what would I have to do if I have to wipe it, would I have to wipe the ROM then reinstall again or is it just something else I need to wipe without needing to do anything to the ROM. Thanks

Guest thedandyp Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 I prefer to have 'screen orientation' turned off as I hate walking down the street and the screen constantly rotating...is there a video player (outside of youtube) that plays videos automatically in full screen WITH screen orientation turned off?
