Guest phlum Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Thanks! I might try the Orange games otherwise maybe just watch loads of Fail videos in youtube. ;) I would recommend videos from Ashens - they are, as described by the creator himself, long, pointless, full of tat and unfunny jokes (which are quite funny). And yes, a lot of the videos exceed 15 minutes - a few even go over the 20 minute mark! Have a look, see what you think. If not, there's always YouTube Poop. ...actually, to waste even more credit, download endless Froyo ROMs.
Guest phlum Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 A new question approaches! If I want to manually change statusbar stuff in the framework-res APK, where do I put the images? Do I put them in the HDPI folder or the MDPI? Have a look here for more info: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1581436

Guest HMZX Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 You lot will never get this: when using setCPU, there are some profiles that you can use i use the 'when screen is off' one how do i know it is doing its job and changing the min/max speed when the screen is off? usually i use the notification feature aswell.
Guest phlum Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 (edited) i would say HDPI but im not entirely sure Hey, there's always Nandroid backups. I'll give it a whirl and edit when done. Another question (you can never get enough, can you?) When I edit my framework-res, do I delete everything that I'm not replacing? As in, do I only put files in which I want to replace something else? Edited January 29, 2011 by phlum

Bought Avatar and Fast and the Furious from Orange - fail and fail. Games were just horrible or laggy. I called O2 to port my number and 'yes, sure we could port your number to our network'. Only snag is they can't do it until the 1st of Feb. Wait, what? I used up my credits buying games that are just horrible and I can't have my number ported straight away? Hmm... I'm just going to have to survive the next 3 days without any credit. At least I have this Avatar game that looks like it came from the 80s to entertain me for now. ;)

Guest rockin Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Q : Has any ROM solved the WiFi disconnect/reconnect issue ?
Guest rockin Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Q: Do you have to set up each homescreen again if you select a different launcher ?
Guest rockin Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Q : Is Launcher Pro really faster that much faster than the ROM launchers ? (That's all my newbie questions for now ;) ) Thanks

Guest lixcab Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 lol sorry about my suggestion but i did here there were some decent games on there like fifa? ;) No worries, mate. I ended deleting the games anyway as they're just a waste of space.
Guest lixcab Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Q : Is Launcher Pro really faster that much faster than the ROM launchers ? (That's all my newbie questions for now ;) ) Thanks About the same speed but it's highly customisable so it's nice to play with if you're into personalising you're homescreen.
Guest Ydnaroo Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Hi. I've just installed FLB Froyo r6. With the 2 versions of 2.1 I've tried up to now there was a power control widget on one of the screens that allowed me to toggle WiFi and other things off & on. I don't seem to have this with the new rom. Is there a way of turning on the same facility on the new installation or do I have to find an app to do it. Cheers - Y ;)
