the instructions on the first post for how to do factory resetdo workand are tested. If followed properly cause no issues.... Also bear in mind first boot on 161 WILL take quite some time due to the perfmod creating its required data. Depending how fast your streaks internal sd is this could take over ten mins quite easily. Provided the boot animation doesn stop it is working jus be patient. And anyone who gets stuck at boot i need logs to fix

any ideas on how i can reach 3000 quadrant scores? i'm on 1.6.1 and currently have autokiller memory optimizer (ultimate preset) & setCPU. And only getting around 2048 quadrant scores...what are you guys using to get scores closer to 3000?

By Not using something that is known to mess up android that's for sure

yeah +1, mine will freeze and reboot if i try to go above 11136 on setcpu, so right now its at that and getting 2018 quadrant, i still love the speed though

oh yeah , what fards was trying to tell you was "get rid of the autokiller!!!!"

Got mine working finally.. I was going to skip this build because, instructions was getting complicated and I was happy with the 1.6.0  . But then again I don't want to miss any tweaks and upgrade from Dj_Steve (thanks bro).

I also had to flash 1.5.1 and factory reset to make it work.

But then I noticed that all the options I chose did not appear on the new build????

So I must did something wrong with the install file. I did put the "install.txt" (as text file) on my root SD. but it didnt work. So I made a new one named "install.txt" (as cfg file). Didnt work either..starting to get frustrated.

Out of frustration I made another new install files with all the options I written in it with a new file name "install" (as text file) and "install" (as cfg file). And just to make sure that it will work I put the other 2 previous files on my sd root.. and WA LAAA..it worked..

Dont know which of the four files is the right one,its all on my sd root now. Didn't make any conflict on the installation. Just happy that it worked.

So guys having a problem with the """install""" file. Do what I did. :)

Got mine working finally..

Got mine working too:

1. used recovery-v0.3.2.6-beta , to mount SD card (via advanced),

2. copied stock image to sd card,

3. then stock recovery flashed,

4. then rebooted and installed stock image, and let it run to the welcome

5. then clockwork 1.5.1

6. then clockwork 1.6.1

*sigh* That'll teach me

1.6.1 seems to run quite good.

but due to super-user authorisation issues : e.g. screenshot, adfree and streak vibration (most important to me) I go back to 1.6.0

Was running pretty good until I made some changes to ADW EX settings, then nothing but FC's for everything including Google core services.

After a reflash it looks good again.

I had the same issue...

1. Restore with Nandroid a backup

2. Boot up complete

3. Do a factory reset from first screen before the cw start.

4. Install 1.6.0 over this and boot in it.

5. Install 1.6.1 on this and reboot again.

6. Then reinstall all apps again ( I done it with appmonster backup.)

7. Now my works smooth.

I did same sort of thing and thought I was screwed. I did the following to get out of it

- do a factory reset from inital streak 4 options but hold volume keys during boot to get back into the options once more.

- revert back to 1.5.1 and once installed select reboot from clockwork and again hold volume keys down(don't let it boot up).

- do a factory reboot and do volume keys once more(again don't let it fully boot up).

- install 1.6.1 and reboot normally.

- shut down and reflash 1.6.1 in clockwork.

Jobs a good un

ok if you're on 161 there's some scripts steve stuck in system/bin that are causing the adfree and other issues.

in adb shell (or a term or whatever)

su

cd /system/bin

rm chmod chown df mv mount umount

Or alternatively delete

chmod chown df mv mount umount

using root explorer from /system/bin/

it should work better then
