Stuck in Clockworkmod

I rooted my Nexus S a couple of weeks back and installed Clockworkmod. Not problems there.

But today I rebooted the phone via adb (issuing the "reboot" command), and now the phone is stuck in Clockworkmod recovery. I'm able to connect with adb, and I'm able to go to the stock recovery (home + volume up), but I'm not able to boot into Android at all

What can I do to get my phone to boot again? Do I need to re-flash it?

Got the same problem while doing the root.

but tried Wiped Dalvik / Cache / Data and reinstall stock and it worked.

Full ROM taken from Here

Hope it works for you too.

FYI

I had this problem for ages (boot up just hanging after modaco rom update)

Solution - Install the clockworkmod app "Rom manager" from the market place.

And then choose "flash clockworkmod recovery" once installed

This ensures your recovery image is the the latest. Most of the guides I found always had links to download a recovery image that was an older version of clockworkmod.

Using the the latest recovery image fixed this.

at this point in time the current version is: 3.0.0.5

Seems you had a quite different problem. I couldn't boot into android at all.

that was my problem - originally i couldnt boot after flashing

every time i restored and tried to flash a custom modaco rom my nexus would no longer boot

I had to restore to recover, my post was how to avoid repeating the problem.
