The bread kindly bought me some new 'phones but I had forgotten about the adapter. I could go to Maplin and buy this http://www.maplin.co.uk/3.5mm-stereo-plug-...t-adaptor-48406 but from previous memory there can be problems if you put a stereo plug into a 3 pole (stereo and mic) socket as it bridges connectors.
