Cant seem to downgrade my Desire HD

I have a goldcard and ive tried several RUUs can any one help me?

This is a last resort since the other threads and such havent really helped me. ;)

Forgot to mention, what RUUs am i ment to use? Bravo or Ace?

If your goldcard is done correctly, I have uploaded the PD98IMG.zip,remove from name of zip .132.405.3, leave PD98IMG, copy zip to card,boot or reboot device,hold power and volume down button enter bootloader....itll flash correctly if you have an unbranded device....Once it flashes, check for software update and update to 1.32.405.6, then root as usual

Thanks ill give it a try ;). if it turns out my phone is branded what do i do then? Im pretty sure its not seeing as there is no vodafone software on it other than the SIM Kit thing.

tried that it came up with this:

Main Version is older!

Update Fail!

What do i do now? ;)

Unsure, your device may be branded...mine is unbranded and this worked with mine. What version of the rom are you on??

Software number nd baseband is tht wat u mean? Coz its 1.72.405.3 software number.

ok....youll have to use this guide to try to downgrade...your gold card may not be working either...i had issues getting one working using mmc1 as said to be used...have to use mmc2 when making the goldcard.

I tried that guide, didnt understand it at all :s cldnt find the downgrade folder... the adb commands i can do easily.

Ok i found the downgrade folder. Next issue, whats mmc2?

Same method as mmc1 only use mmc2 instead in the command line

Goldcard helper did everything for me so idk what command it used.

The manual way looks sort of complex.

To create mmc2 goldcard...i would manually make it....this guide works fine just replace the mmc1 with mmc2

Ok im going to have to get my mums laptop off her again *sigh*

So do i just format to undo what i already did?

Also when i power off my phone and try to boot to loader screen it doesnt work unless i take my battery out, whys this?

No clue, I am just learning Android myself....have been developing on windows for awhile....I'm using stock 1.72 rom at the moment....Glad you got it sorted....

HTC Desire HD, new on T-Mobile with:

1.75.110.2 Firmware.

This is really frustrating, I created the goldcard, did this:

adb push psneuter /data/local/tmp

adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp

adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/psneuter

adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/misc_version

adb shell /data/local/tmp/psneuter

adb shell

cd /data/local/tmp

./misc_version -s 1.31.405.6

Copied PD98IMG.zip to the SDcard, reobooted into recovery mode and it doesn't work!

On the HBOOT screen, I see:

Loading PD98DIAG.zip

Not found

Loading PD98DIAG.nbh

Not found

Loading PD98IMG.zip

Not found

Loading PD98IMG.nbh

Not found

Can anyone shed some light on this?
