Method to turn Backlight on/off easily ?

Sometimes I like to use my phone in complete darkness, and want the lowest level of light possible from the phone.

The way I achieve this right now is by going:

start menu -> windows settings -> system -> backlight -> uncheck "turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped"

I also have the setting right above set: "turn off backlight if device is not used for" 10 seconds.

When I do this, after I wait 10 seconds, the screen dims lower than the lowest possible setting under either "auto backlight" or manual backlight control.

so far this is the best way to get the darkest screen for reading in the dark. But it is a little annoying to go through the menus and enable and disable this setting everytime.

Does anyone know of a switch that will do the same thing here? or any way to make the screen even darker ;) ?
