okay i did the new update with working sensor. i have the following problems. on my b7610 beta1

1) when i want landscape i have to turn the phone but then opposite to get the landscape and if i want portrait i have to put him opposite portrait.

( hope my English will do)

2) using any key will make the phone freezing. hope mosci can solve this one

Flashing mst and letting it format My Storage should fix the partitions in there. But personally I never recommend to flash mst because it includes eBoot which isn't safe is something goes wrong.

I tried using JC2 original version that I have in my personal archive with MST extansion.

I have partion again present and now I will install another rom that I would like to try during android experiments :(

i don't understand it. is rev94 the solution and is it a program i can install. or is upside down a problem we cant solve yet

Tjeerdos, problem was not solved with rev94. And, as far as I know, it wasn't meant to be solved by it.

My Compass is working! . .but it is +90 degrees out! i.e North is displayed as East.

I have again the problem of the sleep. It doesn't wake up and I need to make soft reset

I used beta2, 2D/3D and B7610_update_20110303 of issue 6

- wifi doesn't work

- bluetooth the same

- sensor +180 degrees

at the moment for me it is not so better than rev.80 of mosci

and I have not working dual boot too!

for you is the same? I forgot something?

witch compass did you use? i downloaded 2 from market. both don't work

I used Check Compass 2.0 ( first one on I found the list in a search).

Compass and all other sensors show working (Accelerometer 180deg out) on the 'GPS Status' App

New problems with the last update for compass/sensor:

- incoming calls can freeze system (twice for 15 calls)

- in sleep no more wake up (about 10 times in 2 days!)

- sometimes freeze system during normal operation (using menu/settings/internet etc...)

I don't know if for you is the same....

actually iam posting now as i have got many problem s after many installs on android,

firstly i want to ask you few questions

1. which is the best file system to install the android on . i mean ext 2 , ext3 or ext4

2. which is a better place to install my storage or storage card (i have 8gb transend 6 class)

the problem i face ,

if i install the android on ext2 in sd card ,

i get frequent int user required like eroors .. iam not much in the linux soo cant tell the perfect error.

then even after many clean installs i cant get the android working ,

then i tried on my storage , got it woking as gaurav said in his tutorial

but when i install the keyboad pach latest 20110303 one , i didnt tred any other ,

i cant get the android working

but it works before the keypad patch ,

i know patch is fine , but dont know where am i wrong .

iam installing android on my storage in ext3 partion type.

plz someone help

one more question ,

when i try to install it on sd card , the new 512 partion is auto created in my storage what is it ???

is there any way that we can get the android to work without the new install .

When i click run on o2beta and start the installation process i get this message:

mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 on /sd card failed no such device or address

"cant mount internal flash!!!!!

i tried to change the default.txt and i formated the sd on ext2, but no luck. I also tried to format on fat32, but always the same message.

Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

the default is set for mystorage installation not for sd installation

You can download the 6.5 JC2 or JE2 based ROM which is available here to get the MST and your 512MB partition. This is the same mistake i had done, and had to flash it to get back again

Did anyone managed to install the 2011-03-03 update on MyStorage?

I installed the beta2, as described ibn post #1, then I installed the video driver and everything worked fine.

Then I un-tar-ed the o2b2update.tar.gz of the 2011-03-03 and replaced the kernel-image, too.

As I understand I have to execute the o2b2update.sh in Android, right?

But I have 2 problems with that:

1. After untaring the update / replacing the kerner, Android freezes after 30 seconds, maybe because I didn't execute o2b2update.sh?

2. I don't know how to execute the o2b2update.sh under Android. Do I have to use a terminal emulator?
