Guest tjeerdos Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 I was wondering.. Winmo can run haret.exe to load zImage... Can't we cook a ROM that will load haret.exe before anything else? (Either that or edit the eboot to load Android, but I think from WinMo is way easier) i don´t know if that is possible. i´m not sure if i would do that either. maybe if android is 100% stable. until then i want to know for sure that winmo is still available. maybe an option, if your android is stable for you, you can place a shortcut from haret in the map startup. that way android starts while winmo is starting
Guest tjeerdos Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 froyo is in town downloading it now devs thanksssss
Guest Vic20 Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 First question has got to be.. will the Issue 46 patch work for Froyo as it did for 2.1 by simply changing the name to 'O2b3update....' ?? This would be nice. I hope the 7610 mods dont have to be started from scratch again poor guys!! Vic

Guest tjeerdos Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) one thing i did try was camera. but forced close! every time i try. how can that be.......... tjeerdos Edited April 18, 2011 by tjeerdos
Guest elbee72 Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 one thing i did try was camera. but forced close! every time i try. how can that be.......... tjeerdos what zImage are you using? the included beta3 kernel or the rev46 one? what is happening if you use the rev46 kernel with the beta3 base? probably not optimal because the dev team ported the kernel from mixed 2.6.31 to m910 2.6.32, but curious what bug(s) made the port necessary. not working cam on b7610 with new included 2.6.32 kernel is logical, some chip reset/enable pins are mapped different and not patched yet. we got previous cam version of Almar working on B7610 beta2, so shouldn't be a problem on B7610 beta3. patching shouldn't be that hard, but some work though ... ps: still working with erik on native keyboard slide support for B7610 without side-effects ..
Guest gauravv Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 i am not able to get it installed on sd card its having a error failed to mount internal flash on sd card,,,etc....and somethg mmcplok5 like that.......any solutions?

Guest CJMonty Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 Hi guys, Just a question. I installed new froyo, but when I try to boot Android I got message OK IPC TRANSFER START and then plenty of messages : request_suspend_state: wakeup (0->0) and it goes for a long time and nothing is happening. Any Ideas? And I have 2D/3D drivers on my My Storage in root...

Guest ErnstJanF Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 I'm trying to get the keylayout working now..
Guest new2city Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 hey guys, is ext4 compulsory for froyo beta? I just untar the new files followed by the new 3d drivers and after a few minutes on the ÄNDROID booting screen, it just went to sleep permanently? BTW, I installed it over my previous beta2 installation..
Guest ErnstJanF Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) anyone tried rev46 on beta 3? I didn't, just tried the update file (tar.gz) only, and It will not load because the kernel versions do not match. Trying now with keylayout and 2D/3D drivers only.. EDIT: This works.. It's booting now, let's see if the keys work now :) Edited April 18, 2011 by ErnstJanF

Guest ErnstJanF Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 did you try zImage and o2b3update.tar.gz with corresponding modules? No, I tried the zImage with the 2D/3D drivers and keylayout from REV46, I excluded the modules and sensors
Guest ErnstJanF Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 I'm having problems to install.. Seems it can't mount internal flash. Can someone post his/her internal flash partition table?
