Is it possible to use internet on android through adb?

Not trough adb but with ppp over usb with pc running Linux could work.

Read some post on xda-developers.com how to do it.

Tried it but ppp wasn't supported in kernel back then.

Maybe some freezes are caused by shaky WiFi, you can test by doing ppp internet.

I just got a little sattelite on the statusbar (top) ? What does it mean? :lol:

EDIT:

Some issues (don't know if anyone got a fix?)

At boot:

- Time changes

- Airplane mode enabled, cannot disable)

- Not charging anymore..

Thx for the link, gem miner works fine now.

Only PvZ is the only game in which my screen is some sort of split, the buttons are in the right tapping place, only the visual button is somewhere else, so I press on a button, but it is somewhere else. Very annoying and unplayable.

its great that android can work on the b7610.

have been testing it today.

its to bad that there is no gprs and no wifi. so i can't go on the net.

i also can't get an connection with my laptop so no Internet that way.

so i realy hope someone can get gprs to work

anyway thanks for the great work and the work that is hopefully coming...

Me too, first installation today and happy for a promissing begining. I'm still loocking for the menu key on my keyboard, maybe spanish key mapping is different in any way :lol: . I have a couple of questions:

I`m back on winmo, so the way to launch Android again is running haret.exe from main memory, isn't it?

While I can't connect the device to the internet I can't log in google account so: it's possible to skip that config stuff to get to the main screen, desktop or whatevet it's called :) , I'm partially stucked at the "I-8000 android" "touch the android to set up" screen as I can't sign at google.

Should my wife's galaxy s work for coping files (games, you know xD) to my memory card?

you don't need to sign into/create a google account - just chose "skip" :lol:

Airplane can be disabled. Just disable it with one click on the menu option, after holding lock or camera button.

Using a different launcher and after all the files that were given, I never had this 'problem' again.

I had the problem, could not get through the android settings. 2nd time I booted. there was no prompt/problem with that.

So, correct me if I am wrong but I understand that with this beta of Android you can start it like any other program in Windows Mobile? And after reboot, you've got your WinMo back?

I would hate it to get stuck with Android without having the possibility to get on the internet or to have WiFi working...

Exactly, at the moment you reboot you are back at winmo.

if i get one key to work another ones dies :lol:

and always (up to 5) muliple scancodes pe key (not only up and down .. also different values)

so .. that has to be done by someone with a higher knowledge :)

i have mapped only 3 keys at my phone .... but due to multiple scancodes/keycodes

there still some more key's working unexpected ?!

this will sure be done ... wifi is much more important (for me)

i dont know exactly .. mayby you can figure out that!?

... but there is something different betwwen the both models

at least in bluetooth ... wireless ... hardwarekeys & memory

i f everything was the same - it should act the same ... but it does not - thats a fact
