Guest account2002 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 2G 3G both work work?? i dont have 3G I think that "3G" is just a shorthand for 2G/3G data connection. I've tested it myself and 2G (EDGE) also works, but seems bit slower than under WM, or maybe it's just my impresion, because adroid needs more bandwith to work.

Guest gauravv Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 hi, since today my phone hangs very often. someone any idea how to solve this greets tjeerdos same here bro... hangs in sleep keys not working properly when i save apn settings it doesnt save
Guest gauravv Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) can anybody upload their qwerty file if any one edit to make it work better EDIT : i am leaving android for now as it is continuously failing to install properly and will wait for future releases which are stable ISSUES: 1. Wifi not working and here we have quite expensive gsm data. 2. Gsm data worked once.....and then after re-install not able to do it cause once i save apn data it doesnot save and i get no apns......moreover keys doesnt work good.....menu key never works for me......works when i have very good luck after many resets 3. Gsm update also causes sleep issues....and as it for i8000 key maps also changes... very sad about menu key not working... sd card is class 2 So i tested it very well and reported issues....cant do anymore becoz i don't have any knowledge of programming. Guest smekkos Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Mmmm... i live in the netherlands and have no problem with 3g.... about 400 kbyte psec on telfort 3g! it could be your sd card... i use a 8 gigabyte class 6 transcend card and still got ramdom force close messages popping up! well.. in the beginning after a minute its fine. could anyone make a poste for installing to my storage?? i couldn't find it in the original thread.... but i heard it works much better
Guest Jamievanm Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) After a load of problems. I Deleted all files from android. Reinstalled from step 1. Booted android. Switched off. Placed the files while on windows. Booted android again. Android works. But how can I use 3g? There is no indicator in the topbar. Also there is no APN set. EDIT: ADding APN manually and rebooting after that made 3g work. But Android keeps freezing and getting processes stopped. (android.process.acore) Its not usable like this. I have all the new files. Except the 23/3d drivers. Should I add them too? Or cant you do that with the latest update? Would like to hear from you guys! Edited February 2, 2011 by Jamievanm
Guest gauravv Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 can anyone tell me that everytime there menu key works or not ?

Sorry about my english and thanks for all! put all the files in my storage. and run haret thats on the root of your my storage. then these problems are over and android will start. and its faster than on sd card. greets tjeerdos
Guest tjeerdos Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 can anyone tell me that everytime there menu key works or not ? if android isn't freezing menu always works for me with k on keyboard. greets tjeerdos
Guest tjeerdos Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 how to install on my storage this is what i understand of it. put all the files on my storage not on sd-card. click on haret.exe in the o2beta folder to install. to start anroid, use haret.exe thats in the root of my storage. this was the only way it worked for me. if the files are on my sd i get errors and it won't start. and because this is the only way it worked for me. i think this is what they mean with install on my storage
Guest gauravv Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 by that i meant that my storage is the place where ext2 will extact not sd card
Guest mosci Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) i'm sorry i have to tell ... but there is more difference between i8000 and b7610 then expected so ... not everything that works on the i8000 works also on the b7610 (i mean more than wifi) me and elbee have tried to get the keyboard work much better and succeed mostly - but. because of the much more hardwarekeys, we have had to remap some gpios which are used for some other stuff in the i8000 - thus some more things not working or .. at least ... producing more errors. so keyboard act's better but more things did not work in a propper way ... not a good solution ;) a little explanation: on the i8000 6 gpios will be enough to catch all keys on the b7610 there seems to be 15 gpio's needed some of the 9 additional needed gpios are mapped correct on the i8000 but clearly not on the b7610. wich ends up in erros because threir wrong triggert on the b7610 (before and after - functions which are useing the keyboard-gpios now producing more errors, cause their wrong/(un)defined i just focused on the keyboard - not on the relating stuff i'm not a c-programmer - even the keyboardthing blowing my mind) so we can not expect the same behavior on the b7610 as on the i8000! but we can be glad that most of the hardware/sorftware works in the same way! editied: because it was to depressing ;) Edited February 2, 2011 by mosci
Guest tjeerdos Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 by that i meant that my storage is the place where ext2 will extact not sd card there is a guide how to that with linux on your pc. i tried that but the comands that i have to in linux terminal gives an error so i did not get far with that
