Guest chenga Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Ouch! Would really love to get our grubby kits on an updated rom, who knows what they have fixed/added in this latest version? I got mine on friday and it has 1.08. I don't know if this is possible but if it is, I would be willing to upload the updated rom. I have heard that there is some touch issues when charging and I haven't experienced any yet so this might be a fix in the new version.
Guest yabbas Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Sweeeet  I like tasty roms! :)
Guest chenga Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) I found how to do it from a link earlier in the thread but does anyone know where to put the codes? From here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1509987 Edited January 23, 2011 by chenga
Guest HunteronX Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I found how to do it from a link earlier in the thread but does anyone know where to put the codes? From here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1509987 Try installing 'Terminal Emulator' from the market, and then type the codes/commands into the tablet, using that. If typing 'su' brings up an error, just continue, and post the results. Thanks!
Guest zzleezz Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) Hi and thanks for offering to help chenga. In the link to the instructions are 2 more links. The first one is to VISIONary, you use that to gain temporary root access to your system. The second one is for connectbot, this one is the program that allows you to enter and run the code. If you don't get on with connectbot here is a download for terminal emulator term.apk Edited January 23, 2011 by zzleezz
Guest Lennyuk Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Maybe the delay in releasing the kernel sources has been because they have been working on updating it beyond whatmost of us had.
