I am looking for an app that means i can send photos/music/videos from my PC to phone over wifi instead of by USB a bit like "chrome to phone" works with web pages.

Any suggestions?

cheers

I use es file explorer for this on the blade and the vega to copy files between the android devices and my NAS.

I've not used it but I gather that SSHdroid (available from Appbrain if not the market) does this. I've a vague idea that there's an add on to either Astro or EStrongs file explorer that offers this functionality too

Anyone know a decent app for navigating rivers / waterways (in Ireland, to be more specific)

I was thinking it might be worth just using google maps and looking for someone's stored waypoints / tags, but I wondered if there might be something specific for boaty types

Couldn't find much on the market

Any suggestions?

I need a sound recorder which starts recording as soon as you open it (or it has the option to do so). is there one?

tokasiki voice recxorder has a widget that does that... very nice: sends the recording straight 2 gmail...if u want.

As a matter of fact SSHDroid is an SSH server, not a client, but it still might suit your need.

It works quite well, even in free mode. Once you have entered your own settings, you can access your phone via an SSH client run from your computer...

If you are looking for an SSH client and you're familiar with Linux environments, you can use Terminal Emulator: it's a very handy app that works just like the console in Linux, which means you can run the ssh in command-line mode, even if it's far from being its main purpose.

There are quite a few other SSH clients on the market, but I didn't try them.

I'm looking for an app that (almost) does the same as the Widgetlocker lockscreen app.. It has to be a free app since unfortunatly I don't have a credit card. Anyone know of a good alternative?
