Just a note, but the G1 port of the Honeycomb has the settings menu working, maybe someone should ask the guys at XDA how they managed to do it?

Great Ippe H! Does that mean the sound is working/ fully working?
Can't say, it's not boot :(

And if i try made it different way, i get : AudioHardwareMSM72XX: Could not open MSM SND driver.

Why it isn't booting? A logcat would be very nice :(

Well, on Alpha5, I could not open any settings, just the main Settings menu, nothing deeper...

By installing and using Launcher Pro you have a better look to all your apps and a fully working menu

Could we have the Dialler application? I'd like to know if someone is calling me, even if I can't hear them :(

this might be a bit of a stretch, but would we be able to port or include a dillaer from another ROM into this, so i could make callls or something like that, i was using this for a few days and everything was hunky dory, untill i switched back and realised i had 6 missed calls

So? We had that hack long time ago.. just change 3 lines wlan -> ar6000 and it's work..

thought you had, just re-confirming.

so to make and receive calls do we just need a phone.apk from a gingerbread aosp full-eng build?

might have to decompile the boot.img and look at init.blade.rc for the sound issue

I think the key to fix audio is on framework.. services.jar ..

I doubt the relevant parts for making a dialler work are present, as Honeycomb is meant for tablets

There doesn't seem to be anything new on here. However I am still very interested to know how things are going. Any chance of an update?

still stuck with sound causing a reboot

Do you think this is likely to be resolved soon (read: next couple of days)? I want to stick with this rom, but the lack of ability to make/receive calls is a but of a killer, as well as having no MP3 player

I've made my copy available here

http://webdeposit.desktop.kenbw2.co.uk/Oth...02032011_a4.zip

This is the version without working WiFi

I've removed it as I'm not actually hosting it on a server, and it's available from the first page again
