Guest jeddy1 Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 Only the sound fixed or other stuffs? Maybe yes but I don't think so! I hope yes :D. Its alpha 5 again
Guest Ufufu Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) Only the sound fixed or other stuffs? No, it's not a new version - it's just the old version reuploaded. Sound is not working. Awesome work though, Ippe. It's amazing how much better the browser rendering is compared to previous versions of Android. Edited March 14, 2011 by Ufufu
Guest FelixL Posted March 14, 2011 Report Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) For the phone part: If you take a look at this picture here I guess it's the framework where it is missing, right? The application part should be no problem, just take it from any other rom, but can we insert or change java/android/telephony without the real source? Edit: Those graphical glitches (red things, buttons not highlighted correctly), I guess they are normal? Edited March 14, 2011 by FelixL

Yes maybe we can take the application from another rom but it doesn't matter if we don't have sound! Edit :I have them too but if they don't cause any problem, I don't care :D Edited March 14, 2011 by jeddy1

Guest Officer Fred Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 Anyone working on the sound problem? Since this is the only available Honeycomb port for Blade, it would be great to get the basic stuff working. The ZTE's cheap tablet is technically quite similar to the Blade and this gives some hope of running Honeycomb on other ZTE devices as well...
Guest FelixL Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 I bet the devs are waiting for the source, and then this will be done soon.
Guest jeddy1 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 I bet the devs are waiting for the source, and then this will be done soon. Let's hope so but how much it will take for the source? Anyway I hope soon :D.

Guest jeddy1 Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 not impossible, Honeycomb has yet to be released to AOSP. Oh yes that's what I'm talking about :D.but what's about the calls? I know sound must be fixed first but do you think the phone.apk (calls)will be easy to solve? Cheers

Cheers sadly the Xoom Tablet does not allow calls, so there is nothing to compare to work out what needs changing to allow calls to work at present
Guest hecatae Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 can someone advise, the boardconfig.mk for the cm7 boot.img has no reference to audio, so how does it work on cm7?
