I think that there is a few guys without interest for Honeycomb on ZTE Blade :P Maybe guys from ZTE

why they wouldn't? I bet custom roms are a big part of success the blade got.

All they need to do is upping hardware capabilities of following android products and they'll be fine :P

Because they need to sell future ZTE products ,not keeping Blade alive with 3.1 HoneyComb...Thats simple and all :P

Do you have gen 1 or 2 device? also, you might try redownloading and flashing. I am not expert, but these just came to my mind.

if you are not an expert then stay on ur eggs!

the release alpha 5 is just for gen1! we are waiting for a gen2 release...

current gen2 image has no working touchscreen, and no working sensors, I cant release it to screams of frustration. :P

Well the last gen1 alpha can't make or receive calls or texts so I don't think it's recommended for use as a phone really :P

How's the GEN 2 version going?

with issues :)

Why bother, anyway? The next Google Nexus Phone will have a HD-ready display, 1280x720 px. This will be the end for porting Ice Cream Sandwich to displays with lower resolution.

Wouldn't this port now be better suited for the Skate? Since honeycomb on a 4.3 inch screen might be a tiny bit easier on the eyes? Obviously we need to wait for someone to actually get one;]

Ice Cream Sandwich should be 4.0 (we had this so many times) :) .

It brings together tablets and smartphones. So it has a double name.
