I think that you must enabe usb debuging, than disable it, than enable it..

isn't this build Streak_322_12947_11.pkg locked to some provider, probably in Hong Kong then?

00 = UNLOCKED/NO PROVIDER

Yeh did some research and saw that only "Tata DOCOMO" (india) is still locked (dunno the baseband) on the Dell Streak and only T-Mobile (untill now) will have the Dell Streak 7 locked... but might be wrong bout that.

Okay, so I dropped the 309 recovery image into my streak folder and flashed through recovery and then tried to flash the package as a Zip file. No go as I get the Blue and black Dell screen. Any ideas?

At least the dreak stage not crashing at all so far.

But I couldn't root it with all that app or software which could work on the previous rom.

I loaded 322 yesterday and here are my impressions so far.

-it appears to be faster then 318

- the messaging app appear to be a little different, i hardly know though because i use gosms

- i was able to alter the services.odex to make the clock color white.

-***unable to successfully modify the framework-res.apk file****

i got the circle kitchen mod to work, but everything forces closes once the phone boots up.

I am hopeful the ATT build coming out today will be after this version and more people skin for it.

i used 318 or was it 319 perf fix. used it before on my 318 rom the same way.

* i didn't use the data folder containing the local.prop since it always seems to break my wifi even after doing resets on my router.

1. extracted the performance fix zip files.

2. copied each file FROM and TO the same folder. ( using root explorer, i didn't just copy the folder and overwrite )

3. restart the machine

quadrant scores from 800s(before the fix) to 1300s~1500s (after applying fix) ;)

Not build.prop, noop on the schedulers on the 'real' partitions, and remount /data with noatime

Thinking of trying this build over next couple of days and the numbers you got are pretty good but haven't got a clue what you are referring to above.

I just received my Factory UNLOCKED Red Dell Streak - Official Android 2.2 build 12332/315

GAUSB1A131500-US

Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf

How do I get the build 322 for my specific unlocked Dell model? When I do an update check, it says no update is available.

Yet, I see newer and perhaps improved official Dell Streak builds being released in other parts of the world...

how do you manually kick off the update procedure once you download the pkg file and put it on your sdcard?
