My firmware is Acer_LiquidMetal_1.001.02_AAP_GEN2 version (Asian Pacific Region). Can I flash my phone with this firmware or I need to wait Acer to Release AP Version

I would give it a try! I guess that if it is not suitable for your device it will not be accepted. (At your own risk of course).

I've got the same issue: wrong 20mb error when flashing update over metalounay. I've flashed an old bin with update tool (see specific thread for download) and after this flashing the last bin was OK.

I only noticed few issues, solved by an hard reset.

Now all is OK.
